Third person

It has been a week since Liam brought Flora with him. Things has been interesting to say the least. Flora has been trying her best to keep up the "brave" act. She acts all bubbly and cheery in front of everyone and soon as she's behind closed doors alone she breaks down missing her father. Every day whenever she feels her tears close she runs off to somewhere and breaks down muffling her sobs as much as she can. She doesn't think anybody hears her but Klint hears it every day and has a urge to go hug her and comfort her (which terrifies him cause he never cares about other people) which he doesn't cause he doesn't know how to or why he wants to.

She feels extremely guilty as according to her she is weak. She blames herself for not being brave and beats herself up for it.

Klint on the other hand wouldn't admit it but he loves her company. He doesn't talk to her much, he just observes her. How she takes care of everyone around her and tries to make everyone feel better. She makes sure to make the guards around every corner of the house get food and a little rest, she helps the maids even when they insist for her not too, etc.

He admires her pure soul and caring personality. He finds himself smiling at her time to time which terrifies him. He doesn't know the unusual feeling he gets toward her. He doesn't know why he has the urge to protect her and his heart aches when she is sad or hurt. He was sure that he would hate her as he hates kid cause they are always annoying whiny brat who need everything handed out to them according to him but to his surprise Flora is nothing like that. She's quite mature for her age.

Every evening after Klint finishes up work he goes to the living room where flora is waiting for him. Every day she asks him about his day with her cute voice and innocent eyes filled with sincerity. Then they spend few hours in each other's company. They don't talk they just spend time in comfortable silence. They both find it comforting in a odd way. Klint cause it makes him feel less lonely without having to interact and talk to someone annoying and Flora cause he reminds her of her dad.

The first few days Flora asked him about his day politely he ignored her but then after a few days started giving her a nod of acknowledgement. He would never admit it but throughout the entire day he looks forward to complete his work so he can hang out with flora.

Liam visits Flora every day. He has taken her as little sister and Blake has been a father figure for her. He makes sure she eats enough food and goes to sleep on time (Which she doesn't but he doesn't need to know that).

Klint or anyone else doesn't know if Flora's gonna be living here permanently but somehow Flora has managed to wiggle her way into everyone's heart even the one's with icy cold wall up. They don't know if she's gonna be sent off to the system or to a family of her. Honestly Klint avoids that topic every time cause he doesn't want her to go but he can't actually keep her here legally.

Now to the current time, like every other evening Flora was in the living room. Today she was reading one of the books Liam had got her on the cozy couch which was huge compared to her curled up in a blanket with the rain pouring outside sipping on a cup of hot chocolate the head cook especially made for her remembering that she loves sweet things when Klint entered the room like usual.

His eyebrows were furrowed in frustration as he sighed and plopped down on to the couch opposite to Flora. Flora closed her book putting a book mark at the page she was reading and looked up to Klint.

"How was your day" She asked like usual with her head slightly tilted to the side as she smiled sincerely. "Fine" He huffed out annoyance laced in his words as he didn't even glance at the little girl.

The tone of his voice didn't bother Flora as her smile didn't flatter. In fact it got wider as Klint never replies to her beside his usual small nod of acknowledgement.

Flora raised one of her eyebrow (Which made her look more adorable if thats even possible) at Klint not believing him. She smiled at him and placed her book down and got up from below the blanket and off the couch.

She ran upstairs the little pitter patter of her shoes against the marble floor echoing throughout the mansion. She went to the guest room she's staying at which everyone has announced as her to themselves. She went to the glass table in front of the huge windows and picks up a chocolate bar that was resting on top of her books and runs downstairs to Klints and holds it out for him.

Klint who was laying his head backwards at the couch with his eyes closed as he massages his forehead trying to relieve the painful headache he has sighs annoyed when he hears her light footsteps running towards him not in the mood to be around anyone. He open his eyes slowly frustrated ready to glare but raises his eyebrow confused (which he would of course never show) when he sees her holding out her favourite chocolate bar (How did he know that? Well he might not show it but he does pay attention to her even though he might act annoyed and like he can't stand her).

Flora smiles at him and places the chocolate bar in his hand saying, "Here. That might make you feel better. Chocolate always makes me feel better". Shock overcomes Klint feature and he doesn't even bother to hide it behind his cold expression. Nobody except Liam has ever cared about him. Like ever.

Before he can do anything else an alarm blares throughout the house loudly and.......................
