This is a rewrite of the previous second and third chapters, I just wasn't happy with them and didn't know how to progress from them.

Sorry about my incompetence.

Also, should I delete the last chapters or just put a notice in front of them that they aren't the actual story,

Inko POV.

Sat next to the hospital bed, I looked over to my son. His hospital gown revealed enough of his chest to show the smallish scar on his chest, about the size of a tennis ball, over his heart. Apparently it was the main source of the heat dispersed from when Izuku "overloaded". The rest of the burns were able to be healed by a specialist doctor whose quirk helped with burns, but the part over his heart was too severe to be healed fully. 'At least he has a memoire of his first save as a hero.'

The doctor said he should wake up in about twenty minutes. Yua said that she'd get here in about twenty-five, I'm pretty sure that to reach that she's have to break a few speed limits though... or her daughter got away from playing, "heros" probably, quickly.

I looked over at my sons unconscious form, seeing his chest rise and fall with his breath. Before I knew it he'd woken up, a doctor had come into the room and they'd asked me to move away a bit to do a few tests, so I moved my chair to the other side of the room. After the tests had been completed, the doctor said that he was fine, just needed some rest and could be discharged now. He pulled off the pads attached to Izuku, causing the machine to flatline, as the Urarakas walked in.

Third Person POV

A mixture of emotions crossed the faces of the newly present family, shock first, turning to confusion, yet more shock before they came to a conclusion that, in their minds, without the whole story, made complete sense; Izuku had died as they walked through the door.

A loud wail excluded from the young brunette standing between her parents, she released herself from the grips of her mother and rushed over to the very deeply napping patient on the bed, tears running from her eyes as she hugged him tightly,
"no, no, nooo. He can't. He can't just... he was going to..."
The rest of her speech was lost in the stream of sobs escaping the four year old.

Inko and the Doctor, on the other hand, were in confusion at the situation before the fast thinking Doc came to a realisation with a snap of his fingers. He replaced the pads onto Izuku that he had just placed on the table, and the heart rate monitor came back into action with a steady beat. Yua, the young girls mother, realising what had happened picked up and calmly explained to her befuddled daughter what had happened while the apparently quite new Doctor remembered this time to turn the machine off before taking the pads off.

"My apologies. Rookie mistake, I recently transferred to this hospital from one where the monitors automatically turned off if you took the pads off." He turned to Inko, "Izuku will need a few days good rest. For a young child who had just discovered their quirk with such a drawback he's recovering exceedingly well. Please explain to him how his quirk could be dangerous, the laws alongside public quirk usage and that he shouldn't be so reckless with it. If he wants to be a hero he'll have to train carefully, small amounts of energy collected and expelled over longer periods of time. I suggest starting with a small candle and absorbing the heat from it, and the expelling light, remembering to shut his eyes just in case. Then try a version of photosynthesis, absorbing light energy from the sun lying on his back and, again expelling light. The reason I'm suggesting excluding just light is that, light on its own can't damage much compared to other things. Only bleaching certain things and possible eye damage which is why he should shut his eyes, along with a good pair of sunglasses. Kinetic and thermal energy could be much more destructive, as well as sound. I'll take my leave now, have a good day." He walked out the room leaving the two families to themselves.
