Chapter twenty seven

Rii's POV

I was just standing in the front of my open closet thinking what to wear today as it is our sangeet ceremony. Did I just mentioned our? Ugh, whatever. Suddenly someone bumped into my room. 
"Hey Rii, do you need any help?", the person asked.
I faked a smile and replied, "Oh Mahi you're here. Thanks but I don't need any help. You may leave as I've to get ready".
"Are you sure?", she asked moving closer to me and the very next second she encircled my neck between her hands.
"I'm sorry, mai baadme aati hoon", a voice came from our back.
I made myself free from Mahi's grip and stopped the other person.
"Hey yn wait. You can come. Nothing serious". Yn faked a smile and then said to Mahi, "Chachi tumhe bula rahi hai". Mahi went and yn was also about to go but I held her wrist.
"Jaisa tum soch rahi ho waisa kuch bhi nahi hai", I exclaimed.
She nodded and had a look at my closet. She handed me a suit and said, "Yeh aap par bohat acha lagega".
"Mujhe tumhari help ki zarurat nahi hai", I joked but don't know why she took it serious.
"Ab aapko meri zarurat kaha hogi? Mahi jo aagayi hai", she complained rolling her eyes. 

Yn's POV

I was a little angry on him by seeing them both in that position but anyhow I was trying not to show him but this stupid heart always do something idiotic, the very next second I complained him. He glared at me and pulled me towards him by my waist. My hands were resting on his shoulders and we both were sharing a very passionate eye contact filled with emotions.
"Mahi ho ya chahe koyi aur, tumhari jagah meri zindagi mein koyi aur nahi le sakta. You owe a special place in my heart and you owe me. Got it?" he said sternly.
"Riyaz", I said in a low voice as I was at the edge of crying because he said something which no one have said me ever. I hugged him very tightly. He also hugged me back.

"Kaisi lag rahi hoon mai?", I asked Rii with a wide smile. He looked at me from top to bottom.
"Bilkul mere jaisi", he whispered.
I glared at him and said, "Aapko har baat pe self obsess hona zaruri hota hai kya?"
"Ab banda handsome hai toh self obsess toh hoga hee", he replied with a wink.
"Mahi aayi thi mere paas. Usne hee help kee meri ready hone mein. She was genuinely sorry for her mistake. Bohat sorry kaha usne toh maine bhi maaf kardiya. Achi ladki hai woh", I said Rii.
"Woh pehle se hi bohat achi hai but jab study karne ke liye ghar se door gayi thi toh shayad thodi spoil hogayi thi. Mujhe bhi sorry kaha usne".
I rolled my eyes at that and started moving downstairs but I stopped when a thought flashed.
"Kya hua ruk kyu gayi?" he asked with a confused look.
"Ek minute aaj toh hamara challenge hai. Mai toh chahti hoon ki aaj aap hee jeete because aapki jeet hee meri jeet hai", I said him genuinely.
"Shitt. Mai toh bilkul bhool hee gaya tha. Aur agar tum haarogi toh cry baby ban jaogi jo mujhe bilkul acha nahi lagega. Kuch aisa karte hai jisse hum dono bhi winner ban jaaye", he said.
I made a cute pout and said, "Mai cry baby nahi hoon but ab karna kya hai".
"Mujhe toh laga tha ki tum last line sun kar first line bhool jaogi. Anyway come with me" he said and held my hand.
I said in a hurry, "Rii mera haath chodo kisi ne dekh liya toh". But he ignored and was lost somewhere. "Rii", I called him to get back his senses.
"Tum yahi ruko mai abhi aata hoon", he said and left.

Rii's POV

An idea flashed in my mind so I went to Rohan's mum and said, "Aunty kyu na aaj ka sangeet kuch different ho?"
"Different but how?", she asked me.
"Sab couples saath mein dance karte hai. Beech mein partners bhi exchange hote rahenge aur mazaa bhi aayega. What do you say?", I said her dramatically. She agreed and I announced everyone. I hurriedly went to yn as I said her to wait. 
"Kya hua?", she asked as I entered her room and I explained her the whole thing.
"But how come she agreed?", she asked in excitement.
"Tumare saath rehke thodi bohat acting toh mai bhi seekh gaya hoon", I replied with a smile.
She went downstairs while blushing. I looked in the mirror and said to myself, "UFF YEH MOHABBAT" and the music started.
