S2 - Chapter twenty

"Yaar yn, abhi toh theek thi tum. Aur ab achanak se kya hogaya", Rii said but I ignored him and left.

Rii's POV

"Maine kya ghalti kardi ab. Chod Rii. Woh apne aap theek hojayegi", I said to myself and slept.
When I woke up, I searched for yn everywhere but she wasn't there. I called Henry and he also didn't pick up my calls. I got so tensed. I decided to check the CCTV photage. I saw yn moving out of the house at 6'o clock in the morning.
"Itni subah yeh kahan gayi hai? Aur ab toh 10'o clock ho rahe hai. Abhi tak aayi bhi nahi. Mujhe bata kar bhi nahi gayi. Henry ka bhi abhi tak koyi response nahi aaya. Agar use kuch ho gaya toh? No No Rii, kuch nahi hoga yn ko. Chal dhundte hai use", I said to myself and went in search of yn.

It is almost night and I still have no information of yn. I asked Henry but he also said that he don't know about her. After a very tiring day, I entered the house with a pale face. As I entered, all my worries got vanished and a smile made way on my lips. I saw yn and my whole family standing and waiting for me. I entered the house and hugged Dadi.
"Sorry beta. Humne tujhe ghalat samjha but ab yn ne humein sab kuch bata diya. Mujhe maaf kardo", she said while hugging me. I broke the hug and said, "Aap mujhse badi hai. Aapko maafi mangne ki koyi zarurat nahi". I saw yn who was having a wide smile on her face. I was about to hug her but she indicated that everybody is here so not now. I just nodded. When I turned around, what I saw was unbelievable and surprising.
I saw a Happy Birthday banner and the wall decorated with balloons. I looked at everyone with a smile. Yn gestured me to move at the birthday point.
"Yn, tu bhi jaa uske saath", Dadi ordered.
Yn hesitated but she can't refuse Dadi so she agreed. She came and stood beside me.
"Yn, tumhe yaad tha?", I asked in a low voice.
"Of course yaad tha. Aur mujhe yeh jaan kar bilkul bhi shock nahi lagega ki aap khud bhool gaye the ki aaj aapki birthday hai. Hai na?", she asked.
"Tumhari chakkar mein bhool gaya tha. Kahan thi subah se. Mujhe batana toh chahiye tha", I started quarrelling.
"What do you mean by that? Kya batati mai? Aapke liye humlog surprise plan kar rahe hai?", she asked with anger.
"Haan toh batana chahiye tha yehi. Mai aise act kar leta jaise ki mujhe kuch pata hee nahi tha", I replied in a way sarcasm.
"Actually I think you're so hungry. Cut the cake now", she ordered.
"O.. Order kise de rahi ho? Ghulam nahi ho tumhara", I said.
"Aur aap.. ", yn was saying but Dadi interrupted.
"Ladne ke liye saari zindagi padhi hai. Abhi cake toh cut karle". We chuckled at her statement. After cutting and distribution of cake. Me and yn were standing in kitchen and drinking juice.
"I'm sorry Rii. Mujhe aapse meri behen wali baat nahi chupani chahiye thi. Maine baad mein realise kiya ki I should've trusted you on this point", yn made an effort.
"It's ok yn. Meri bhi toh ghalti thi. Mujhe bhi Neela wali baat bata deni chahiye thi. I'm sorry", I said holding my ears. Yn smiled at that and hugged me. I also hugged her back. She broke the hug and rubbed my nose with hers. We lived happily ever after with the most important thing in our relationship "TRUST".

Your author here. How was this story? It wasn't easy for me to end this but I had to some or the other day.
What I learned is, It doesn't matter if we have love in any of our relationship. The thing which matter is trust and understanding. When we love someone, we have to trust them. If we think that they are hiding something from us, notice the changes in their behaviour. Try to ask them and make them feel that you are always with them no matter what. It is easy to break a relationship than to build it.
