Ao? The hell? Wait....blue? Blue!
" Blue?"
He nodded his head. Blue was the codename we had used for a kid who could do no wrong. His name was....I don't even remember, it was years ago. All I remember was he was a good kid, one of the boys me and kuroo would hang out with whenever we had the chance. We would sneak out and meet up at the lake and just talk.
" What does he have to do with this Kuroo? He's a random friend from when we were young, why bring him all of a sudden?" I couldn't connect the dots. It doesn't make sense. Maybe I'm just overthinking it and he's just bringing up good old memories? Who knows.
" Who do you think is outside Murasaki?" I smiled at the silly nickname. Murasaki, purple, was my codename when we were young. Us three used our favorite colors as names when we would talk so no one could tell who was who. But thinking back to what Kuroo said, there's no way Ao could be standing outside, right here, right now. But, could there be a way? The kid who could do no wrong has somehow gotten himself swept up into Bokuto's gang of criminals? No freaking way.
I glanced at Kuroo before darting to the door. For some reason, it felt further than it looked. I ran out the door, past Bokuto, and stopped a few feet from him. There he stood. Memories of his face from when he was a child came flooding in. He didn't look much different. Tall, midnight hair, and blue green eyes. Surrounded by a calm composed face. Here he was, after all these years, in front of my very own eyes.
" Looks like good boys gone bad, huh?" I smirked.
" Good to see you again, Akaashi." Kuroo said.
He walked up beside me and eyed Akaashi, who eyed us back. It was weird, however. Something was off. He wasn't the same boy from all those years ago. No. He's gone over to our side, completely. He took a step forward whereas I took two back. For the first time in my life, I thought of running away and never looking back. For a split second, I think he may not remember me. Yeah. He probably doesn't even remember my name, who I am, or even that we were all friends at some point. He took another step forward before saying, " Good to see you too, Hezeru and Murasaki."
