After what the man had said the other night, you began to wonder why the animatronics could act so human anyway. You decided to ask them the next night, when you went back to your job. You had a day off to catch up on some rest, since you'd been working almost continuesly, so you read a book for a bit before falling into a deep and dreamless sleep.

~Timeskip~

Bonnie was usually the first into your office to visit you, and that night was no different. As he came in and smiled at you, you smiled back but quickly posed your question.

"Um, about last night, I was just wondering . . . why is it that you guys acts so much like, well, humans? Even though you're animatronics?" You ask quickly, blushing.

His smile faded quickly, replaced by a look of slightly distressed sadness.

"It was a long time ago, we were all just kids . . . there was one guy in a suit, wearing an animatronic mask. We thought he just worked here, so we didn't ask questions when he took us back for an exclusive tour. We all felt so lucky, until he pulled us into one back room. We were really confused then, when he took out a knife . . . he started stabbing my friends, and I, and it was terrible . . ."

Bonnie was trembling, you could see it. If he could, he would probably be crying too.

"He shoved our bodies into these suits. We've been here ever since, unable to do anything with our lives except for play those stupid songs to entertain the kids. . ."

He couldn't go on anymore.

"Aw, Bonnie . . ." you say, feeling so bad for him. You wrap your arms around him in a fierce hug, and he hugs you back gently. You can almost imagine it, never being able to do anything but perform songs over and over. It must be terrible, just absolutely horrible . . .

You can feel tears leaking down your cheeks, soaking into the fake fur of Bonnie.

"Don't cry, (Y/n) . . ." Bonnie murmurs gently.

Then something amazing happens. You don't notice anything at first, then you feel the animatronic in front of you moving. You take a step back. A faint purple glow is coming from Bonnie, and suddenly he begins to shrink until he's just a little taller than you. You can see, in the dim light, that where once a purple, animatronic bunny stood, there is now a teenage boy around your age. He has black hair with purple streaks at the tips, and medium brown-red eyes. He's wearing a purple top and jeans.

"B-Bonnie?" You stutter.

"(Y/n)?" The boy says uncertaintly. "I remember it all now . . . my name is . . . it's . . . Brian!"

He looks at, smiling widely, eyes glowing.

"I'm human again! I don't know how it happened, but I'm glad!"

Eyes shining, he picks you up and spins you around quickly.

Suddenly, the rest of the crew comes in- all human. You can tell who's who; 'Freddy' with darkish brown hair and blue eyes, wearing a black sweater and jeans; 'Chica' with short blonde hair and violet-blue eyes, wearing a yellow dress; 'Foxy' with red hair and golden-brown eyes, smatterings of freckles across his cheeks and nose, wearing a dark green T-shirt and brown shorts; and Kyla with light sandy-coloured hair and bright green eyes, still wearing her hat and bandana.

"Bon- Brian . . . what happened?" 'Chica' asks, eyes wide.

"I'm not sure, Megan, but isn't it wonderful?" Brian asks excitedly.

"Yes!" 'Foxy' exclaims, and you were surprised to hear his voice without the accent. Their voices were different, a bit more life-like and less robotic.

"(Y/n) . . . I'd like to introduce you to Megan-" Brian points to the girl with blonde hair- "Liam-" he points to the boy with brown hair "and Eric." Finally, he points to the boy with red hair.

"Kyla . . .?" Megan asks hesitantly.

"I'm . . . L . . . Louisa," Kyla says slowly, eyes wide in wonder.

"Louisa! Nice to meet you," you say, shaking her hand.

She smiles, eyes sparkling happily.

"Guys, when the shift is done, we have to get out quickly," you warn, suddenly serious. "You can stay with me for a bit, I guess, until you can all support yourselves."

They all gave you nods. You all sat and talked until six, the once-animatronics getting used to being human again. When your phone gave the alarm, you moved out quickly with your friends. In the newspaper the next day, you saw that Freddy's was closing, due to the animatronics being 'stolen.' You smile at this a little. You're glad your friends have all their potential back, and now you and Brian can be together, properly.

((Okay! That was different! Guys, say yay for happy endings! YAAAAAAAAY! You guys like it? That's the end, just so you know. It wasn't long, but . . . yeah . . . Comment your thoughts. And a book about Kyla's past so you can read more? You guys like that idea? Until next time, Wolf out))

I just don't get it, why do you want to stay? Bonnie x readerWhere stories live. Discover now
