"Come on Dawn!" Faith called, walking over to our truck.

"Coming," I said jogging over. Kenzie was in the passenger seat and Faith was in the back.

"Yes! I get to drive!" I exclaimed, getting the driver's seat. Just as I started the truck, Kenzie's phone rang. She answered and put the phone on speaker.

"Yes Samuel?" Faith said.

"Don't call me that! and do you want to go to the beach party?" Sam asked.

"I will Samuel," I said.

"Dawn!" Sam exclaimed. I just laughed.

"We'll be there Sam," Faith said and hung up. The minute she did, all three of us broke down laughing.

"It's hard to take him serious sometimes," Kenzie said. I nodded my agreement before I started driving home.

I pulled up to the beach party.

"Well Sam brought the idiot," I observed.

"Yes he did," Faith said.

"Miles is the most idiotic person I know, how he ever made it to the 11th grade I will never know," Kenzie said.

"That is a mystery," I said, opening my door to let some fresh air in. Faith chuckled.

"Hey, when we get home, care if I go for a run?" I ask.

"I don't care, I'm going for a drive anyway," Faith said.

"Just stay close to each other, ok Dawn? Ok Faith-striker?" Kenzie asked. As soon as Faith's Cybertronian name left Kenzie's mouth, the truck seemed to tense.

"We will Kenzie," Faith and I said in perfect sync. I looked at the radio on the truck. Whoever they were, they seemed to know Faith's full name. I was determined to find out what this truck knew.

"Dawn, Kenzie, Sam needs help. Hand me something throw at Trent," Faith said. I handed her a box filled with random things as Kenzie got out of the truck and walked over to where Sam and Trent were.

After a moment, things didn't seem to be going well. Kenzie tapped her hand twice on her leg.

"Looks like it's my time to shine," I said, getting out.

"Good luck!" Faith called after me.

"Hello Mr. I-can-get-away-with-almost-anything-because-I'm-popular-and-your-not," I stated.

"What did you just say?" Trent asked me.

"You heard me," I said. Faintly I heard Faith mutter something about Trent being an idiot if he got me mad.

"Listen short stack y- oaf!" Trent was cut off when I landed a kick in his stomach. I may be 5'1" and short compared to his six foot something tallness, but I'm not a short stack. Kenzie grabbed my arm, then Sam's, and turned to face Miles.

"Get out of the tree," She hissed. Miles looked at her and intently got out of the tree. Kenzie had that 'I'm not in the mood for argument' look on her face. I was dragged over to the truck.

"Get in," Kenzie stated. I didn't argue and got in the truck.

"Trent call ya something?" Faith asked.

"Short stack, he called me short stack," I growled.

"He is an idiot," My Cybertronian friend muttered. I nodded my agreement. Soon enough, Kenzie got in.

"I swear that boy had a death wish," Kenzie muttered.

"What did he do to you?" I asked.

"Idiot tried hitting on me with his girlfriend right there!" Kenzie exclaimed.

"And you didn't let me throw something at him?" Faith asked.

"I wish I had let you throw something at him," My angel friend stated as she started driving.

The drive home seemed to take forever.

"What do you guys want to eat?" Kenzie asked.

"Lemon Rice Soup," I stated. Faith pointed to me.

"That it is then," Kenzie said getting out. "Y'all can stay out until it's ready." It's been so long since I heard her use y'all. She didn't like using it. All it made her think about was how her home state turned against the rest of the states, only to be joined by more. She might have died 12 years before the Civil War happened, but it still affected her greatly. I can't blame her though.

"Is something wrong with her?" A male voice asked. I looked up from my lap.

"Dawn's fine, just thinking. Kenzie will be fine once she starts thinking about something else," Faith replied to the male voice.

"That didn't answer my question Faith-striker," The male voice said.

"We've agreed not to talk about it," I said.

"All we can say is that what she's thinking about, breaks her heart to no ends," Faith said. I nodded my agreement.

"We should head inside so we can eat and so I can get a change of clothes for when I go for a run," I stated.

"Or you could just come back here in that form," Faith said.

"If these people see a wolf walking down the street they may freak out and I don't want that to happen," I stated, looking straight into Faith's bright blue eyes that seemed to glow in the slight darkness.

"I see your point," Faith said after a moment.

"Come on, talk to you later...." At that point I realized that we forgot to ask him for his name.

"Ironhide," The male voice came from the radio.

"I'm Dawn Hope," I said.

"You already know my name," Faith said.

"Our friend inside is Kenzie Hope. No we are not related," I said before the question could be asked. With that, Faith and I got out of Ironhide and dashed inside.

"I was just about to call you guys in," Kenzie said, standing at the kitchen entrance.

"We know how long it takes to make lemon rice soup," Faith said.

"Can we just get our food and eat?" I asked.

"Sure," Kenzie walked back into the kitchen with Faith and I following.
