2. Beside Me

Inside the theater:

The team made it into the theater quietly looking for their row.

"We should be seated in one of the middle rows", Vic said to everybody while everybody was looking for the row.

"Seat 61, 61, 61", Jack said to himself trying to look for Seat 61. "Found our row guys! Over Here.", Jack said, waving at them to catch their attention.

Few seconds later the team were seated in their seats. From right to left, facing the screen was: Jack, Dean, Sullivian, Andy, Travis, Vic and Maya, ending in the middle of the row. The seats were divided in three sections. Facing the screen, 4 columns and many rows on the left, so was the right side of the theater, and then the middle. The seats in the middle had about 12 columns, so there were 12 seats in each row, making Maya sit almost in the center of the row. The theater seemed to look packed because the movie was new and literally first aired that day.

While all the viewers were waiting for everybody to take a seat, the crew talked and ate some of their snacks. Travis and Maya definitely finished their snacks except their popcorn, by the fact they were nervous and scared to watch the movie.

"Guys, I know you all are nervous but did you really have to eat all your snacks? I mean the commercials still don't even start and people are still making their way in.", Vic took a deep breath, "DAMN.". Travis and Maya gave each other a fist bump, knowing that they are at least annoying Vic for what she had done to them.

A few seconds later, Maya stood up and told Vic she was heading to the restroom. Obviously she had to go. She was bloated by eating her snacks too fast and chugging her beverage as well. "You should take your cup to fill it up again. I don't want you to be choking in the middle of the movie with your popcorn", Vic said with an annoyed look.

Maya picked up her cup and chuckled. She made her way out of the theater into the restroom. After she was done she made her way into the beverage section. While filling up her drink, she thought about the woman she had seen next to her, and exactly the same woman she had bumped into in line. She felt butterflies just by the thought of her, "why do I feel like this? I feel so... I don't know... I don't know", little did she know she was falling for this woman too quickly. Love at first sight? Who knows.

She headed into the theater, looked for her friends, and sat on her seat ignoring the fact who was sitting next to her.

Andy: "Where did you go?" Andy said, trying to find Maya.

Maya: To the restroom and refill my drink

Andy: "Oh okay. I thought you freaked out on us, no lie ", Andi laughed.

Maya rolled her eyes and gave them a whole sarcastic laugh, "HAHAHA."

Movies started. It was scary for Travis and Maya. Vic looked at them and started laughing because they were both cuddled by arm on Vic. She couldn't even enjoy her snacks due to them tightly attached to her. She let it slide and continued watching the movie. Suddenly, a jumpscare came out and the funniest moment in the movie happened. Well, for others but not Maya herself.

Maya's POV:

A jumpscare came in the movie. I jumped so bad and screamed really loud that the rest of the audience laughed for a good 20 seconds. I've never felt so embarrassed in my life. I was literally, LITERALLY shaking, until Vic realized. She moved her hand away from Travis and tried to comfort me. I felt like I couldn't breathe, I couldn't hear anything, I couldn't see anything, all I could see was blur. I just wanted to get out of there, but we only had a few minutes left, so I told Vic I was doing a little better.
