Since The Day We Met(Marina)

1. Friends Movie Night

  Returning from an enormous occurrence, the unit returned to the station after an extremely difficult day of work. The station was relieved that everything seemed to work out in the end; no wounds, no fatalities, or anything too serious. Vic, one of the 3 female firefighters at the station, wanted to celebrate their hard day of work.

"So folks, movies or drinks? You choose.", Vic questioned as the group began preparing their belongings to head home.

"Well...honestly, I think we spare some time for a movie,'' one of them said as the others agreed.

"Alright!, Well then, since I'm the one inviting you all, I'll be the one picking what movie we're watching . You all better not bail on me.", Vic said.

"Thank you very much for the offer Vic but sadly I will not be able to go. My wife needs me at home, I promised I would go home as soon as my shift ended", Ben pitched in, chuckling at the thought of his wife waiting for him.

"Alright then, I understand, tell your better half and children I said Hello. Bye Ben, have a good time with your wife and kids, make sure you get some rest as well. Appreciate the hard work today.", Vic said waving Ben goodbye.

They all headed to their vehicles and parted ways. As soon as Vic arrived home, she got her phone and began to search up a good film to watch with her crew. Eventually, she found a decent movie and booked tickets via online. She bought 7 tickets since a large portion of their unit were going, with the exception of Ben, because of family time. Vic, Maya, Andy, Travis, Dean, Robert, and Jack were the ones that agreed to go.

When Vic bought the tickets she messaged the groupchat to give them a heads up.

Homies 4lifers:

Vic: Hey guys, the film I booked tickets for starts at 7pm, so if it's not too much trouble, be there ahead of time. Maya, you're easily the most responsible out of all of us so I'm not too worried about you showing up late.

Maya <3: Of course! You know I'll be there ;P

Dean: Thank you Hughes, appreciate it.

Travis: Vic, I swear if it's a scary movie, I will kick your a s s.

Andy:Alright then, Sullivan will be going with me. ;)

Jack: See you all there peeps.

Vic loves scary movies however never preferred watching them alone, so she used her crew to her advantage. She ended up going with 'The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It'. This film was supposedly related to true events which definitely made it more frightening than it already was. Vic knew a large portion of her group loved comedy movies, so sadly nobody really enjoyed horror movies like her. It dawned on her that Maya despised horror movies, as well as Travis. Realizing that those two were terrified by unnerving films, she decided she will be sitting between Maya and Travis.

After a couple of minutes, she was parked close to the entrance of the building. Maya holding up outside. Vic stopped near the structure's passageway. She got off her vehicle and advanced towards Maya. Maya, wearing a white long sleeve shirt with thin horizontal black lines, light pink denim jacket, blue jeans, black converse, blonde hair down to each side, kind of wavy.

Vic ran up to Maya and complimented her by her fit, "why so cute today, huh?", giving her a small shake with her shoulder to Maya's shoulder.

"What do you mean? It's a casual look, Vic!", Maya said not actually knowing what Vic was attempting to call attention to.

"Geez, come onnnn, Maya. This coat brings the shade of your wonderful eyes significantly more, which is excellent. Simply kindly discover somebody to date... I don't have a clue, you can't be single in your 30's homie.", Vic said with a genuine yet perky tone to Maya.

"Goodness shut up Vic, you're my age and you are the same way.", Maya said, giving a little giggle to Vic.

10 minutes passed, Travis, Dean, and Jack arrived simultaneously, later Andi and Sullivian showed up. They advanced inside the building to the lobby, and trusted that Vic would send them their QR codes for the performance center passageway, presently that generally was done on the web. They all confirmed to have received Vic's message. Vic immediately took a look at Travis and Maya with a shrewd grin towards them, "Guys relax, I'll sit between you all so we can snuggle, haha." Maya and Travis looked at one another and shrugged their shoulders with a development telling Vic it was fine, and will acknowledge to watch the film.

They all got in line to get their snacks. The young men were at that point ordering their snacks collectively, and the young ladies were all the while holding up in line attempting to sort out what to get. After the young men were done, hands totally loaded with snacks, the young ladies advanced towards the man taking their orders. Andy had covered the first part and Maya half, realizing that the tickets were over the top expensive for Vic, and needed to help her. They advanced towards the beverage area. Andy and Vic chose to get a water bottle, which was given to them while requesting and accepting their popcorn. Maya was the only one getting a different drink. She knew she needed something sweet or bubbly to distract her from the movie.

While Maya's companions were hanging tight for her to wrap up serving her own refreshment, she pivoted to the individual close to her hanging tight for her to wrap up. Maya totally went blank to what she had seen standing right infront of her.

"Maya! Maya! MAYA!", her companions shouting at her. They at long last stood out enough to be noticed and advanced toward her companions. The blonde was feeling head over heels for this one person that she only saw for God knows how long. Hmmm... could it be love at first sight?

"Wow homegirl, what caused you to react that way?", Vic said. Maya saw them somewhat of a humiliated look and her cheeks shrouded in pink, she blushed when she saw this one person standing in front of her.

While holding up in line to get their QR codes filtered, the young ladies were discussing Andy and Sullivian's relationship. Indeed, Andy and Sullivian together. Her companions upheld her in all things. These young ladies are inseparable and couldn't get by, without one another's help. Andy began to ridicule Robert, in a charming way, making the 3 youngsters laugh so hard and made an effort not to make a lot of commotion so no one would gaze at them in a bizarre manner. Maya quickly felt something behind her, knowing she bumped into somebody. She pivoted, her face becoming red humiliated for what she did, and apologized not looking into the individual eyes.

"I'm extremely sorry ummmm.....", she turned upward and began to stutter, "m-m-ma'am", acknowledging to whom she had bumped to.

"It's fine, bella. Basically nothing spilled on me, we are fine", the tall lady said with an affiliative grin.

Maya gestured with an affiliative grin too and turned with her face totally resembling a cherry, a significant red face.

Maya was next in line for the man to scan their QR code. She then took her telephone out and set it under the scanner that the gentleman was holding, "Enjoy", the man said with a firm tone. Done with the scanning, she made her way towards her friends and discreetly advanced into the theater.

First time I ever do something like this. Nothing much of Carina and Maya here until next chapter. Hope you enjoy it. :)
