Chapter 25

(A/N: EXE here. I'm REALLY tryna get this story up and going again but WOW is it getting harder to write. Still working but...Yeah you obviously know I'm slow already.)

"Wait what do you mean?" Kai asked, Moving everyone towards the seating area.

"She's hurt because of me." Kryptic sighed as he flopped into a chair, Holding a hand over his face. Suki shifted next to him as she grasped his other hand. "It's okay Kryptic. I'm sure you didn't mean it." She said as the room silenced.

The Zendarian had no response as he looked away, Bringing a feeling of distraught to Kai.

"You're not thinking about running away...Are you?" Kai asked, His voice wavering for a second.

"What...No! What kind of person would that make me then!? Leaving her here at her weakest!" Kryptic shouted.

"I-I think I should just go..."

"You don't want to see her?" Kai improvised, Attempting to keep Kryptic eased. "But I thought they wouldn't allow us..."

"Y-Yeah they'll let you...Just---sit tight." Kai waved one of his hands, Standing up and scurrying over to a receptionist.

"Hello. Are they finished yet?" He asked, Glancing back to make sure he was out of sight from Kryptic.

After continuously clicking his mouse, The rejectionist looked up at Kai. "Yes but visiting hours are over."

"Could you make an exception? My friend over there is really upset. He just wants to see someone." Kai attempted to persuade.

The receptionist sighed. "Alright. I guess I can allow it. What's the patient's name?"

"Cherry Val Walker."

"Let's see...Room 411, But I just got information that the patient is asleep."

(A/N: I'm writing this in a hotel and this is my room number. It's also a number you can dial to get information in a certain state. If you live there, Nice!)

"That's okay. Thank you so much." Kai said in relief as he regained his composure, Walking back over to Kryptic. He gained his and Suki's attention.

"Come on. Let's take you to see Cherry." Kai announced and grabbed Kryptic's hand, Heaving him upwards onto his feet. Suki followed behind as Kai lead the three into the various hallways, Stopping in front of room 411.

Kai stopped the other two as he maintained a hushed voice. "She's in here. But the guy told me she was asleep, So be quiet." He said mainly to Kryptic.

Suki stood next to Kai. "We should stay out here. I know she's strong, And I'm okay knowing that she's in good hands." She stated. Kai nodded as he watched Kryptic turn around.

"Alright." Kryptic said before grabbing the door handle and turning it, Walking inside and making sure to close the door behind him.

He took a few steps, Looking around at the different machines. Then he looked at his companion, Feeling hurt when he noticed there were even mechanisms that helped her breathe.
