Happy Holidays!

To my best friend who's supported me this whole story, here's a haiku.

The dynamic Duo,
An impossible outcome,

Chapter 31

The color blended souls spent a few hours at the theater. Few things were said and both noticed that the other was nervous.

"Crazy-"

"Silly..."

The two occasionally thought at their actions. When Kryptic noticed the credits roll, a smirk made it's way to his face.

Cherry heard laughing. Turning to her side, she noticed the sharp young Zendarian struggling to contain his composure.

"What's so funny?" She asked, secretly smiling from his laughter.

As Kryptic visibly calmed down, he looked at Cherry with a grin. "You were staring at me the whole time." He stated.

"No shame. No fear." Kryptic's thoughts repeated.

When he noticed Cherry's face turn a darker hue, he held his forehead with some chuckles. "I'm serious!"

"Quit your laughing!" Cherry smirked while shaking his arm. She, too, started laughing as the two broke down in their seats. The hours of tension finally collapsed onto them.

After a bit, Kryptic stood up and straightened his bowtie. He outstretched his hand. "Take my hand." He ushered.

When he said that, Cherry noticed a spark in his eyes. A very familiar one.

"Come on!" A girl giggled, dragging a confused boy with her. "There's so many things to see here on Earth!"

"The trees, the sky, the lake!" She exclaimed as she watched the boy's eyes light up in excitement.

Cherry smiled and grasped his hand. Whatever he had in store for her, she was ready for it.

"Oohh." Suki grinned at her. "So you love him, Huh?" She teased and saw Cherry's nose turn red in response. "OH MY GOD!" Suki yelled loudly which attracted the attention of the two guys. "You used to do that a lot when we were little! It would happen when you lied!"

Suki was right.

"Let me tell you. It wasn't exactly easy. Yes, You definitely have to get the courage to start it. But that doesn't always mean you won't be nervous. Suki acts different around me, We connect on a whole lot of other people, And certainly you and Cherry do too."

Kai was right.

They both realized it. It wasn't just from living together, it was from watching the other, experiencing things about the other, being with the other.

They had finally understood.

They had both finally come to terms with the truth.

They both loved each other.

With all of their heart.

"Let me carry you." It sounded more like a demand, much of which Kryptic did not intend, but he went with it anyways.
