"CRY YOU PATHETIC MISTAKE!" Micheal yelled into Kaisen's face, as Kaisen remained emotionless.

Micheal threw Kaisen down and kicked him in the stomach. "I will make you surrender Ghost Boy. You can't hold out on me forever~" Micheal laughed psychotically.

"Bro, I think this is... uhm... maybe going a bit too far." Ethan stammered, putting a hand behind his head.

"Shut up or you're next." Micheal growled, grabbing the collar of Kaisen's shirt. "'Cause I'm not stopping until I break this one." Micheal said through gritted teeth, throwing Kaisen onto the ground once more as Kaisen winced in pain.

"You've been holding out on me Ghost Boy~ What will it take for you to give in?" Micheal beat Kaisen relentlessly, as the boy curled himself into a ball, trying to protect his body from the powerful blows.

"P-Please... stop it..." Kaizen whimpered, giving in while tears streamed his face. Micheal grabbed him by the collar again. "What was that? I'm sorry, I didn't hear you properly." Micheal crooned, threatening to punch him again.

"Please! S-Stop hurting me... w-what did I ever d-do to you?" Micheal slapped Kaisen across the face. "Shut it freak. Now be a good little ghost boy and smile. Now."

Kaisen paused for a moment, before giving in and letting a weak smile overtake him. Micheal laughed chillingly and leaned in close to Kaisen's face. "I love seeing you so helpless." he whispered.

"Knowing that I have full control over you. That I own you, Ghost Boy. And you'll always be nothing but a pathetic, useless, stupid mistake."

Kaisen's eyes returned to their emotionless state and he said nothing as Micheal got up and left him there in the dirt. That was it. The last day. It would end now.

The fire crackled and burned all throughout the 15 year old boy's room. July 12... Kaisen's birthday.

The fire didn't spread throughout the orphanage, but it stayed in Kaisen's room only. Kaisen was nowhere to be found, so the police suspected that he was in his room when the strange fire broke out, and wasn't able to escape.

Everything in the room was burned to a crisp, except Kaisen's diary. No one particularly thought anything interesting of Kaisen's diary, so when Micheal requested to have it, no one had a second thought.

"Well then, let's see what this idiot was hiding. Shall we?" Micheal said to his friends with a smirk. No response.

"The both of you have been strangely quiet lately. What's running through your heads" Micheal asked, concern in his voice.

There was silence for a second before Ethan blurted out "I just... I feel guilty, okay! I don't know how I feel about Kaisen's... you know... death."

Jake nodded his head. "Same. I just... I guess I'm wondering if it was the right decision to do that to him all this time. I... I don't believe anyone deserves to die, you know."

Micheal groaned. "Why are you thinking about stupid Ghost Boy. We can't do anything at this point, so just forget it." he scoffed. "Now come on. Let's see what's in this journal."

The fire doesn't scare me now

Nothing hurts anymore...

I guess I really am Ghost Boy now, right Micheal?

I know you're reading this. I can see you.

                                                                                        It's alright... I don't mind.

Why did you hurt me? What did I do?

                                                                                                                   An entire year...

I don't know why you hated me.  Why did you hate me?

                      I thought we were siblings....

Don't worry. You won't have to suffer much longer here...

I WILL FREE YOU!

                                                                              Hahahaha...

                                                                                                                            HAHAHAHAHA

                                               HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Be ready. I'm not done with you yet.

                       Dear brother~...

Or should I say, brothers... Ethan and Jake~

Micheal snapped the diary shut, breathing heavily. There was silence between the three boys for some moments, and none of them said a word.

Finally, Micheal spoke. "What... what the hell was that?" he whispered.

Ethan buried his head in his hands. "I knew it... something was wrong with him... we should've stopped a while ago..." he mumbled into his shirt.

Jake raised an eyebrow and gave a shaky laugh. "A-And what would you mean by that." he said with a weary smile.

Ethan glared at Jake. "Didn't you see it? Was I the only one noticing his behavior? Didn't you realise his eyes? They were never like that. He looked... dead inside." he seethed.

Micheal turned his face away. "I... I noticed it."

Ethan jumped up in fury. "THEN WHY THE HELL DID YOU KEEP DOING THAT TO HIM YOU IDIOT?" he snapped.

"I didn't know, alright. I didn't know he was... doing whatever he was doing. I don't pay attention to that waste of space." Ethan's eyes widened in rage. "You little-" "Ethan, w-what's gotten into you?" Jake stammered, grabbing the sleeve of Ethan's shirt.

Ethan sighed and sat down, running his hand through his hair. "I'm... I'm sorry, alright. I don't know what's wrong with me right now I just... Kaisen's death has kinda thrown me off. I didn't mean to lash out at you like that Micheal. I'm...I'm sorry."

Micheal nodded slightly, but didn't say a word.
