Keeping Klaus sober was incredibly hard, especially when you couldn't come in physical contact with him. You and Klaus were in love from when you were little. You were best friends, soulmates. You caused trouble together, got caught together, and no matter what, through thick and thin, stayed together. When you and Ben were killed on a mission, it tore him apart and turned him towards drugs. Klaus was so upset about your death, that even when he so desperately wanted to see you, he subconsciously blocked your ghost form out. He didn't with Ben, but he didn't say anything either. You figured it was best if Klaus didn't know you were watching him spiral.
