"Ace, come eat lunch!"

"I'm playing with some friends, I'll eat later!"

Ugh, this kid is really wasting my time. I went out of my way to make him lunch, even though mom would have gotten mad if I didn't, he should still eat it for that reason. It's not everyday that your 17 year old sister makes food for you, especially on their own will.

"I swear I'm gonna smack him someday", I grumble to myself while walking upstairs.

Being fed up with my little brother I do what any older sibling would do, Barge into their room and yell at them.

"Ace get your lazy ass up and stop playing that useless game of yours!"

Ace looks plenty offended and shuts his mic off, "Rumi get out I'm in the middle of something! And you never see me diss your favorite things so don't diss mine! Also mom doesn't want you cursing at me so you better leave you alone unless you want me to tell her what you said."

"Well then you better not blame me when you come downstairs hungry and there is nothing for you!"

I storm out of his room and at this point I can't even tell who is more angry at this point. When I make it downstairs I decide to eat my portion of the food. Obviously I don't want his part of the food to go to waste so I put the rest in the fridge. Once I'm done cleaning my plate I go out in the backyard so I don't have to hear Ace screaming like a 5 year old about how he's losing. My parents and friends have labeled me as quite the outdoorsy person ever since I was a little kid. My little childhood adventures stopped as soon as my brother turned 6 while I was 10. My dad decided that I was old enough to look after my brother alone so my parents would leave the house often to go places. This would leave me alone to take care of my brother who used to be pretty needy at times. This resulted in my adventuring phase being practically over. That is until today. Today I have decided that I want to take back my childhood dreams of becoming a pirate, mermaid, replica of Diego, etc! Okay well that is kind of an exaggeration because half of those things I don't believe in anymore, but the idea is still there! The house that I live in has a fence in the backyard blocking off a forest but you can easily tell how simple it would be to climb over it. So that is what I'm gonna do.
