"What do you mean by that?"

Yun's heart started to race, but at the same time, she was suspicious. If he wanted to take things further, they would definitely get in trouble with the officials. Doing that act was like wanting jail. Was it even possible to develop the relationship when they were turning 20 already?

"What if I..." Haechan stretched out his words. His face made its way beside Yun's ear. Letting his lips closer to her ear, he slowly whispered. "...want to wrap my arms around you while I sleep?"

Realizing that the action was different from what she had initially imagined, she averted her face to look at the window. There was a short-lived silence that was ruined by the chuckles of Haechan. Despite being flustered, she gained the confidence to face the boy who was in front of her.

"What did you think I was going to say?" the mischievous face appeared clearly even though the room lacked proper lighting. After asking, he brought his lips close to her ear once more. "I didn't think you would have such thoughts on our first day."

The next thing Haechan knew, he was on the floor, kneeling in pain. He didn't expect that she would get physical by kicking him in the area that doesn't get much sunshine. Unable to bring his face to face her, he remained staring at the wood floor.

Yun, who was unbothered and pissed at the boy, laid in bed. She had her back against the wall while she set a pillow in front of her. The pillow acted as a border for the two to not cross over.

"Your answer..."

"I refuse."

"Why not?" Haechan whined like a kid in the mall. He got up from the floor and laid on his side of the bed. His eyes were focused on the pillow in between the two of them. "This pillow is blocking my chance to get closer to you!"

"You know that you can easily get rid of the pillow, right?" Yun hinted.

"I need your permission first, dummy," Haechan muttered as he tossed and turned. After a couple of minutes of finding a comfortable position, he finally stopped. "Good night, Yun."

"Good night, Chan."

At the same time, Yun was relieved despite the ruckus that Haechan created. Even if he was unexpected and bold at most times, she was grateful that he knew his boundaries. She hoped that after this fling, she would still be able to maintain a good relationship with him.

Feeling a grip on her hand, Yun woke up. Slowly opening her eyelids to the brighter room, she batted them to fix her morning blurry vision. Her vision was now crystal clear, while her eyes wandered to her hand that was holding another. Stumbling upon the eyes that stared at her, she pulled her arm away without a second of delay.

"Good morning!" Haechan beamed. The smile on his face was the second thing she saw after waking up, right after their hands. "You were the one who suddenly grabbed my hand. I didn't do it."
