Audition Tape

~Audition Tape~

"I-Is this recording?" A shy voice calls out from the corner of the screen as a beautiful girl around the age of 16 comes gliding into the cameras view. Trying to adjust the camera to the way she sees fit. Once she finds the perfect angle she gives a giddy smile and sits down at her desk. The young girl shown on screen had wavy chestnut brown hair that cascaded down her back, a warm comforting smile, and a round button nose. She was wearing a cute navy blue sweater that seemed five sizes to big and a pair of mom jeans.

"Hola from Hawaii! Just kidding, I live in California." The girl gives a dopey grin before looking up at her roof in thought, "Oh that's right" she gives a little giggle. "Hi I'm Bella Jacobs and I'm auditioning for a spot in your new show!" The brunette takes a deep breath before starting to talk again, "Well as you already know, I live in California. I'm an only child living with my two wonderful dads, Jamie and Wyatt. There just the best! Oh and I have this disorder called heterochromia, meaning I have two different coloured eyes! Though you probably already saw that." Her cheeks turn a rosy colour as she looks at her lap. Suddenly she looks back up her eyes gleaming with delight. "The reason I want to be on your show isn't so much for the money, but I also what to meet lots of new people! And maybe fall in love..." She gives a little lovestruck sigh before snapping out of it and looking at the camera once again. "Oh and another really important reason is because I want to meet you guys personally" Bella stretches her arms out as if she was about to give the camera a big hug and then throws her hands back into her lap. "I couldn't miss out on the chance to meet the one and only Chris McLean and taste Chefs wonderful cooking, Though people from other seasons have said it tastes like crap, I bet they were just jealous as how good your cooking really is!"

Bella then jumps up from her chair nearly knocking her ornate lamp off her desk. "The reason I think I would be a strong competitor for your show is because I have many skills... Like Taekwondo!" She then puts on a black headband that looks like it would come from the film Cobra Kai and side kicks a hole through her bedroom door. "Oh BLEEP" (They had to cancel that out no matter how much Chris didn't want to) Then Jamie, one of Bella's dads calls out from somewhere in the house about the noise. "Sorry Pops, nothing to worry about!" She then gives the camera a wink and a sheepish smile. Then she whispers, "hopefully I'll be long gone before they find that" she nods while gesturing to the large foot shaped hole in the door. She then claps her hands together and continues with her speech "And I'm also good with machinery because one of my dads a mechanic, so I can build and take things apart really quick! I would show you but I feel like I'm already in enough trouble for the door..." She then strokes her shin in thought as if she was a rich man with a beard. "I'm also a very extroverted person so I get along with people well and can help make and break alliances! Now I'm done boring you to death you can enjoy watching me struggle with turning this piece of junk off" Bella then turns to the camera with a determined look on her face and proceeds to press a bunch of buttons before the camera tilts to the side and everything goes static.

~Back with Chris McLean and Chef Hatchet~

Chris McLean stands with his personal buddy Chef in front of a large screen crackling with static. "So Chef, what do ya think of this one?" Chef thought over the audition tape and smiled at her complement. Though he put on a tough act in front of everyone, he was actually a big softie longing for kindness. And that's just what the Jacobs girl gave him.

"I was sold the moment she complemented my cooking." Chris then gave him a wide toothy grin before laughing maniacally and rubbing his hands together in an evil fashion.

"Excellent" was all he said before the camera's went black signalling the end of the scene.

Well that was that... Bella was about to get the shock of her life being accepted into Total Drama Revenge Of The Island... If only she had any Idea of what's in store for her.

And That's the first chapter!! How'd I go? I'm always open to criticism ;)

hopefully chapter 2 will be released tomorrow, and don't worry its going to be much longer!! And next chapter you get to meet mike!
