TW: Swearing, mentions of cigarettes, outburst, and mentions of bruises and bruises.

Back in the burrow after laughing and eating breakfast while sharing through old stories, it was time for most of them to leave for work. Fred soon realized he was gonna be left alone, "Where are you going?" He stood up.

"The shop," George said as he threw his bag over his shoulder.

"St Mungos." Angelina smiled.

"Quidditch practice." Ginny muffled while chugging her coffee.

"Ministry." Hermione, Ron, and Harry said in unison.

"Woah what about me?!?!." he replied back

"Fred, listen, it's good what you're doing today were all happy," George said in a calming tone.

"But you need to take baby steps." Angelina continued.

"A Lot has changed in the shop, we start tonight by trying to go through the papers and you'll see what I changed 'lright?"

"I know something you can do Fred!." Hermione said excitedly. The rest of them smiled and continued getting ready to leave as she brought him upstairs. "So, I've read in a book and this is only if you're comfortable." She said while ruffling through her bag. "Oh where is that- Ahh ... here, it's a fictional story but it helped me quite a lot." she pulled out a hand-sized slightly worn-out book from her bag. On it was written "The wizards three' on a light blue canvas with a silhouette of a wizard on it. "It's a book about change, go read it, maybe you'll learn quite a bit. I've always found the first step to moving on is to keep a new, peaceful and clean aura." she smiled. "If it helps I find that a cleanroom always sets the mood for a good book."

Hermione kissed him goodbye on the cheek and waved before fading away to the first floor.

"Of Course it's a book, a children's book, ok then." Fred sighed, sitting down on his bed. He looked around his room and noticed how broken down dusty and gloomy it was.

Shards of glass on the ground from chugging endless amounts of booze to 'burn the pain away', countless frames broken on the ground. Big sticky yellow stains on the wall after his 2 years of excessive smoking. Which thank merlins stopped ever since Molly and Ginny hid all his cigar packets after he buys them. Ripped apart curtains that barely let any light in, windows covered in muck.

Fred walked over to the bathroom and grabbed the closest rag and bucket he could find. Starting off with the windows and the dust that coated every inch of surface in his room he got to cleaning, dipping the rag into the bucket of water the dust slipped into the water and continued to stir itself as Fred dipped into it every time he needed a fresh rag.

His room was nearly spotless; only the corners needed dusting and the floors needed sweeping. He carried his laundry to his front yard and filled up a bigger bucket, enchanting it to wash the clothes for them. He grabbed a broom in their shed and went back to his room.

The sounds of clinks and crunches from the glass sounded with every stroke of the broom he got. Fred then questioned how in his 6 years of living as this has he never stepped on a single shard of glass. His room looked decent, as decent as it has ever been in the last 6 years.

He rinsed the dust off his feet and got into a pair of sandals he hasn't worn since the battle. Fred sat on his bed and noticed the new change. The clearer air, the brighter room, the spacious areas, everything. He laid down in bed exhausted and opened the book Hermione gave him, "The wizards three..." he sighed. "Change here we go."
