The Dinner ended as everyone was either outside smoking or inside resting by the kitchen sink or in the living room. Dheandra was taking sips of wine as she wandered by the stairs where family pictures gathered.
Moments in the Weasley family are captured and placed in beautiful frames. Dheandra felt guilty she was jealous of them when she is grateful for the she has. "Your privilege", or so her family claims it to be. But she thought about all those grand weddings, dinners, meeting with noble wizards, fancy robes and food that could go on for miles on a table. She would exchange all of them for one happy genuine moment. Whether it was a lesson on how to sew with her mother or a sing-along with her father, in a heartbeat.
She wiped the salted stream on her cheek as she swung her glass of wine. Fred placed his hand on her shoulder and instantly shocked she dropped her glass as it shattered on the floor. Dheadra Froze, her heart started to echo throughout the room as her hands shook violently.
"Hey." Her breath, loud. Deafen from any sound, she could see her friends lips moving coming over to her but she stepped back. "Hey." she heard the muffled noise again, what was that, whos saying. "Dheandra..." she snapped out of it.
"Are you alright." Fred gave a concerned look holding on to her tightly to make sure she doesnt move to walk all over the shards of glass on the ground. No words came out, more tears spilled uncontrolably. "Dheandra its all right, its wine glass I use to break 5 a week when I was in my 20's"
"I-I'm sorry." She blurted out unfreezing and trying to pick up every glass with her bear hands, Fred seemed confused over howmuch stress she had over broken glass. "I feel very foolish, this is all my fault." Angelina came around the corner to check on the sound. "Dheadra, the glass you'll step-"
Dheandra too focused on the broken glass she picked up, while Fred tried to put on his room slippers, stepped on the glass. Fred and Angelina winced and tried to warn her. No expression came from Dheandra she was still in a panic trying to pick up every shard of glass on the ground not knowlingly stepping on glass shards. "This shouldn't have happened I can buy you a new glass, I swear I'm never this-"
"Dhee...Dhee remember where you are, your safe, he's not here breathe."Angelina walked over to her friend and Fred used his magic to pick up the glass from the ground and into a bin he had in his hand.
"Throw the glass into the bin love you're feet is already bleeding enough." Angelina directed her hands clenching onto the glass into the bin.
"Fred, grab my wand please," Angelina said to Fred, he nodded while she examined, Dheandra's hands. "A few cuts... let's sit alright? It'll be easier for me to heal them..." Angelina led the poor girl towards a nearby couch.
"Dheandra, it's not your fault do you understand? It's an accident." Angelina rubbed her wrist in comfort. "Repeat to me what I just said to know you understand." Angelina calmly said to the hyperventilating girl. "Repeat to me ok ?"
"It was an accident." Dheandra gulped and Fred came rushing in with Angelinas wand.
"Alright Dr. Jefferson, stitches what to we do?." Angelina used her step-by-step calming method to distract Dheandra from the panic attack.
"Disinfect." Dheandra breathed out, "Using alcohol, then check for deep scarring If there are none, cast a closing spell" Angelina used the vile she kept in her purse at all times in case
Angelina then said sternly, "Say it." Dhenadra composed herself and sighed, "Ferula." Angelina cast.
In case of an emergency. She poured a good amount on Dheandras' palm and the blood that was seeping out her wound stopped and dissolved away. Fred placed a bucket on the ground and poured it in with some water and Angelina poured the final dose of the vile into the base. Fred lifted up Dheandras's foot gently and placed it on his knee. "Is it alright if I help take some out?"
"I-I don't know I..." Dheandra muttered. Still unsure of letting a stranger touch her. "It's alright Fred I've got it." Fred gave an understood nod, backed away, and sat on the couch near them just in case Angelina needed anything.
Angelina gave a reassuring smile towards him. She cleaned off the glass and Dheandra's wounds on her feet.
"I think we've all had enough wine and booze for tonight..." Angelina tutted to everyone who was pretty much all wasted except for Fred whose concerning eyes lay on Dheandra.
"Tea?" Fred offered with a warm smile. "Thank you... You seem very tight and ready for unlike everyone else..."
Angelina brought her outside for some fresh air while the rest of the group retired themselves to sleep. "Dheandra? Do you... want to talk about it?"
Dheandra looked out the landscape on the verge of crying.
