First Encounter

a/n: once again so sorry for the late update I noticed my views were getting less and I just finished with my exams so hopefully I can update more often. 

TW: Fight scene, Angst, smoking, mention of injury.

A week that's how long it was, a week where Angelina had to avoid the topic of Dheandra, a week Dheandra had to rush down to the staff canteen earlier and rush back to her office so she could avoid both of them, a week where she avoided the two of them even when it came to meetings. There was no eye contact between them. The only thing close to contact was if they had to transfer paperwork and documents even then Angelina and Dheandra would find time where their offices were empty to give the documents.

When at home Dheadra instead of being able to work in her mansion's library was bothered constantly about how she wanted to go to the Weasley Wizard Wheezes because all her friends are going. Even when she explicitly told her that she could not send her since she's overloaded with work by Angelina disregarding sloppy paperwork and with no communication made she couldn't ask questions about the part she never understood and when she can schedule meetings to discuss proposals.

The weekends came, it was a Saturday morning and Ivy had insisted on going out with both her parents. Ivy however getting her first-ever wish was not granted thoroughly. While Dheandra never seemed to be bothered with the issue of half-blood and full-bloods supremacy, it did not mean her husband would agree as well. While forcingly passing the wizarding wheezes Ivy begged and whined throughout the street to her father to go inside the wonder store. Nile however simply ignored her wishes and kept walking.

"Please Daddy please just for five minutes," Ivy whined while Dheandra tried to keep her walking at the same pace as her and her husband.

After turning 3 corners Nile finally sighed, "I will take you to a kids toy shop but not that one. Do you understand little girl?" He gritted through his teeth.

While Dheadnra was worried about the way he was talking to her, Ivy took it likely as a scolding instead of a threat, simply she pouted and followed him while maintaining a hard attitude. They finally went into a neighborhood close to where the Weasleys Wizard Wheezes, the shop was old, you could tell by the design and the colors used, however overall for a very quiet and dull neighborhood it was very well maintained.

Even if there was a nice lady accompanying her around the shop trying to please her needs Ivy still threw tantrums

"What the hell did you just say to me?" he gritted through his teeth.

"I mean she's a little girl Nile, she wanted to see the Weasley Wizarding Wheezes. I get you hate blood traitors but there is no harm letting her in the shop." She sighed as the wind from the dark alleyway outside blew into the store hoping it would cool Nile down.

"That was one of the families that were in the order and brought the whole plan of the dark lord down, families like them are the reason why I can't even work in a pure location ever since we had to give more chances to the rest like that Granger girl." he sneered. "We shouldn't be supporting those businesses."

"It's not about support, it's about my daughter and what she needs." She shot back.

"I know what's best for our daughter." He dragged her outside by her hair before Ivy could notice since she was still at the back of the store.

"You're stepping out of line like you always do." With those words, he threw her to the ground. The hard impact knocked her head and an uneven rock-cut her cheek, stinging with every cold wind that blew her way.

"You're forgetting who's the man of the house." Nile spat at her, while she was still trying to regain herself. He raised his hand and Dheandra dared not to look in case he went for her eye again. Although all she heard was a loud grunt from him.
