Chapter 1 ~ the man in the hood

y/n: uuuuugh, nooo
celina: come oooon, we gotta goo. we can't be late again you know that!
y/n: five more minutes?
celina: 2.
y/n: 4??
celina: 3, no longer!!
y/n: okay mom🙄

celina: you up yet?
y/n: mhm, i'm in the shower!!

the shower felt cold even though it was hot water, i could feel every drop on my skin as it ran down my body, it felt refreshing.

celina: we need to leave in 30!

'uuuugh, i thought to myself, i'm not a morning person, not that it is morning, but you get it, who doesn't like sleep?

i went out of the shower and felt the frizzy rug in my feet as i proceeded to dry my hair with a towel and wrap it around my hair as i looked after another towel for my body. i brushed my teeth and put some light make-up on.

i went out of the bathroom and choose some clothes and heels for this night.

(smth like this outfit bc u like to stand out😌)

i put them in my bag and put on a tee and some sweats, i also packed some make-up.

"Y/N WE NEED TO GO NOW!!„
"comiiing„ i quickly responded why i grabbed my bag and hairbrush as i ran out of my room and down the hall to Celina.

"we have 30 minutes before we should be on stage„ i heard her say as she drove the car towards the strip club.
'why's my life so complicated uugh, i thought to myself. i mean at least they all liked me at the club, we were like a big family, i liked it even though i knew that i had to get another job for myself.

when we arrived we had about 15 minutes left so we went directly to the changing room and fixed our outfits and the last of our hair and make-up.

we got out of the changing room and went to our boss to see if someone had asked for us, and to our surprise both of us had one person who was waiting for us.
i looked over at Celina who were going to some old lady who may be in her 50's or somethings while a man was waiting for me in a vip lounge.

i didn't know why but i didn't have a good feeling about this, the vip lounged always meant good money but bad people such as powerful nen who thought they could get everything they saw.

i open the door to the lamp being shut off.
"hello?" i kinda whispered but at the same time screamed.
"anyone th-" i felt something against my lips and quickly began to feel dizzy, the last thing i saw was the lamp turning on and a man with light blue hair in a hood.

u woke up to noises downstairs while i was laying in the same lounge as before. everything were loud and i could see 3 person in black in the room. "what happened„ i thought to myself when everything suddenly came back. i couldn't have been out for so long so i looked around me for something i could defend myself with due to my quirk not being so useful in these situations.

the persons had their backs turned on me so i quietly tried to get up and moved my way towards the door with back when i suddenly bumped in to someone, i was going to scream but before i got the chance a hand covered my mouth, so i looked up to se hawks there. he was blushing but i quickly found out why because i kinda bumped into him with my ass...

"get behind me" he whispered in my ear causing a shiver down my spine as i got behind him.

"okay okay, where's the van?? we need to get out of here before any heroes arrive, u can hear that we've caused some noise downstairs..." one of the men said.
"i don't know where she is but she should be here with the van now" another one of them said.
"oh you mean that van i trashed?" hawks said as all of the three persons went quiet and turned around facing us as they stared into our souls.
"yeaaah, exactly that one. go get the girl i don't have time for this" the man in the hood said as the other two came flying at us.
Hawks fought back and used his feathers but my thoughts were only "hell nahh imma get out of here„ so i ran to the stairs but everything was down in flames... blue flames. "shit„ i thought to myself.
"CELINAA!!??" i screamed out in panic as she came to my mind, but i got no answer.
"don't worry little bird we've evacuated everyone" Hawks said looking at me.
"look out!!" i screamed as i saw more blue flames coming after him.

he flew towards me and picked me up in his arms in bridal style and flew out the window up in the air as i watched my home burn down (second home yk🙄)
"i-" was the only thing that came out of my mouth.
"don't worry, you're all safe now!" he said in a calming voice as he then flew down on the ground.
that's when i saw Celina in tears and ran towards her crying.
"y/n!" she screamed with her raspy voice.
we hugged for a while and got a blanket each.

we sat down on the ground and small talked when hawks suddenly came over.

Hawks: you okay kiddos?
Celina: yeah
y/n: i think so?...
Celina: but what are we gonna do now?? we needed that money...
y/n: i know...
Hawks: not to brag or anything but i have a pretty good paying job and i'm actually looking for a partner, so if any of you are interested then you can call. he said with a smile on his face as he looked at me.

i think Celina saw it because she suddenly bumped her elbow into my stomach and gave me the evil eye as a sign for me to talk.

y/n: uhm Hawks?
Hawks: yes?
y/n: i think i'm interested in the job
Hawks: GREAT, meet me tomorrow at 9 on this address. he said as he wrote it on a piece of  paper and gave it to me.
y/n: but what about an interview?
Hawks: won't be needed baby bird, i practically know everything about you! he said as he flew away with a smirk on his face.

"IIIIIIII" Celina suddenly screamed.
"ouch?... what was that scream for??"
"he's totally in to you!!!"
"nahh i don't think so" i responded
"YES HE IS"
"ugh well u get to believe in what you want i guess🙄" i said as we slowly got up and started heading home.
