Chapter 4 : New Life

"WHAT THE HECK IS THIS ON TOP OF MY HEAD AND WHY THE HELL DO I HAVE A TAIL?!???!?"

I yelled, not really directing my words at anyone.

"Well I you ask me, it looks like you have grown ears and a tail." Said Aiden in a cocky attitude.

"Nah duh, who are you, Sherlock Homes because you sure seem to have solved this mystery. Or are you the gang from Scooby doo all in one man's body? "

I said in a pretty annoyed tone.

"Dang never heard that one before. I might just use it for my own comebacks." Aiden said and began to laugh

I just shook my head and ignored him.

"Wow, wait. If I have ears up here do I still have my human ears? "

I asked myself then moved my hair put of the way and felt for my ears but couldn't find them. Then I went to my new ones felt them and realized they were pierced like my normal ones.

"Ok that's just a little creepy."

I said then looked over at Father.

"So is there a way to get them to go away or something?"

I asked him curiously hopping there was. "I believe you can control them as well but I think if you put the dagger back in the sheath it might do the trick."

As soon as he said that I did and I felt them disappear and my normal ears come back.

"So now what do I do?"

I said looking at all three of them.

"Well I'd say get some rest and wait till tomorrow to hear the rest of the story."

Aiden said, actually sounding like he cared when we all knew he could give a crap less. But I didn't argue. Stormy walked up to me.

"My mom just texted me, I have to go I swear none of this leaves the Monastery."

She said crossing her heart with her fingers. Then she walked out the door. Suddenly I got dizzy and everything went black.

I see Rocky begin to fall, and caught her in my arms. I asked Father Remose where her room is so I could lay her down. Once I did I checked the time. It was 11:34 at night. There was no use to explain everything to the old man. So I found a comfy chair in Rocky's room and fell asleep...

Rocky

In my dream I was running through the woods from a bunch of people, then I transform into a wolf so I could run more swiftly. Suddenly I reached a dead end and turned back into a human. They finally caught up to me and began to surround me. Then out of nowhere Aiden, another guy who looks very similar to him and Stormy jump in and starts fighting them and Aiden Sais

"Don't just stand there, do something!"

I look around, not knowing what to do so I pull out my dagger and start to use it. Then two me grab me from behind and begin to carry me away. I am fighting to get away and then I scream Aiden's name, hopping that he could hear me. But then on guy punches me and everything goes black

I awoke with a start and I screamed. Aiden ran over to me with a worried look on his face.

"Are you okay? What's wrong?"

I looked at him.

"Yeah I'm fine. Why the heck are you in my room?" I ask thinking that yesterday he tried to harm Stormy and I.

"I know what you're thinking, why is this crazy guy in my room, but I will assure you that yesterday I had no intentions of harming you or your friend. I have been assigned to you to protect you, and if I must, to lay my life down for you at any cost. "

He said and a grin appeared across his face.

"So you are pretty much stuck with me."
