Chapter 10 Knight in shinning armour

Okay breath in and out, I brought on stage my chair and jacket placing it in the middle

I sat down and crossed my legs and waited for the music to began, as soon as it started I gracefully brought myself up and did some spins till I was one side of the stage I took a little running start and did a leap making sure my legs were completely straight,

I came back to the middle of the stage , this was the part for my spins, I took a deep breath and looked out into the crowd, my gaze fell on Alec he was at the refreshment table talking with a girl, she put an hand on his arm letting out a giggle and Alec laughed back are they flirting, for some reason this angered me

I quickly got into the position and pushed off my leg and spun, my only thought was why was Alec flirting with her, I landed my spin with a thud and ripped of my skirt and threw on my leather jacket, i put my hands on the chair and went into a handstand before descending by putting my legs over my head into a bridge and getting back up, I was pretty good at gymnastic I took a few courses with my ex best friend and I was naturally flexibly so I got these moves easily

I took a small running start and did a round off into a back handsprings and into a back flip, I landed and there was a chorus of applauses, I noticed that Alec was now looking at me and not flirting with the girl, wow so now your looking at me, ugh why did he make me so angry sometimes,

I did a quick jump making my legs go into a split position, and landed on the floor in the splits, I did a small spin on the floor before getting up

I took another running start and did a cartwheel then front walkover and the front flip, I did a leap in the air landing on one leg and doing a spin, I did an hand stand and went down by doing a summersault

I was on the right side of the stage and took a running start and did an air wheel and went down in the splits and whirled my head to make my ponytail spin and at the same time my back leg kicked up
Just as the song finished, everyone applauded as I stood up and did a little bow and then left the stage

I decided to sit and watch the rest since we got to eat before the brains portion of the pageant, I had table number 16, all tables were fitted for 8 people so we were sharing a table with another family

I quickly scanned the area before finding my parents and eve at a table and guess who was with them
Alec, seriously out of all the tables he was placed with us

"Hi I'm Elizabeth, this is my husband Paul, son Alec and daughter Emily " said his mom as she shook my hand

"Hi I'm Chloe" I said as I took my seat, the parents were seating next to each other eve and Emily were seated together which meant I got the seat next to Alec

"You did a wonderful performance" said Elizabeth

"Thank you" I said as I began to eat, I am starving, my mom made me skip breakfast because it was precious practice time, okay she gave me a granola bar but that's not enough, Im a growing girl I need to eat but I also have a pretty fast metabolism so I good pretty much could eat whatever I want and not gain a pound

"Chloe that really was an amazing dance and your outfits cute" said Alec, and everyone went back to their own conversations

"Um..Thanks, so" I said

"So" he said

"I'm gonna get a drink" I said before getting up to leave the awkward situation

I got myself a coke before returning to the table, eve and Emily were talking, I'm surprised that Alec didn't notice eve but she cut her hair and got bangs so she looks different, my parents were talking to Alec's parents, and Alec was just sitting and eating

Once I sat down I took out my phone and went to wattpad, I got out dumb jokes by Ella_Chadwick
I was at joke 13, her jokes are so funny

"Achoo" Alec sneezed

"Id say bless you but looks like god already did" I said reading her joke out loud by accident

"We'll then thank you" he said, I turned to him with red cheeks, that did not just happen

"That was an accident" I said, wishing that I had a time travel machine to fix my error

"Oh it wasn't an accident you find me irresistible" he said cockily

"Oh no, I was reading a joke book and I acci-" I started to explain but he cut me off

"Don't worry it's fine that you find me hot" he said, I'm my cheeks turned even redder

"Okay, I'm gonna go get ready for the next part of the competition" I said before running off

"Good luck" he said before I was out the door

I quickly went to my dressing room and got changed, my dress was a baby blue it was fitted at the top the loose, it had a sweetheart neckline and was beaded at the top, I put my blue heels and a pair of silver earring, I took out the green eyeshadow and replaced it for silver

"Honey, are you ready" asked my mom

"I think so" I said as I took one last glance at the mirror

"Okay, they'll be asking 3 questions to each contestant, it's on random subjects" she said

"Okay, wish me good luck" I said

"Good luck" she said and I hurried off

I was making my way to the room when I tripped but instead of falling someone caught me, whoever it was spin me around so I was know facing them instead of the ground

"How is this for knight in shinning armour" asked Alec as he lifted me up

"Could of been better" I said

"We'll did I at least look hot" he asked with a smirk

"No comment" I said before walking off,

"Okay" he muttered with a small laugh
