Chapter 18

I walked into school with Sarah and Ashley, and we made our way to the our morning class

"So any news who the new guy is" asked Ashley

"Nope all I know is that he came here because he was related to someone, don't know who" said Sarah

"Okay see you guys at lunch" I said

"See ya" said Ashley and Sarah before we all walked into separate directions

I just turned the corner and bumped into a wall making me fall to the floor

I looked up and realized I didn't bump into a wall but a guy and a really hot one of I may add, he had shaggy hazelnut hair and green eyes

" I'm so sorry" he said helping me up

" no it's fine I wasn't watching where I was going" I said

" I'm Hunter " he said

" I'm Chloe" I said just as the warning bell for class rang

" we'll I'll see you later Chloe" he said before walking away

I stood still for a few seconds before snapping out of my daze and walked into class

Classes ended quickly and before I knew it, it was lunch time

I sat down at my table and soon enough Sarah, Ashley sat down next to me

" I found out who's the new guy his name is Hunter" said Sarah

" ya I meet him before, he's hot" I said

" ohh is Chloe getting a crush" asked Ashley

" no" I said he's cute and all but Alec is way hotter and funnier

" you so do " said Sarah before Alec sat down in front of me

" you so do what" asked Alec

" nothing" I said just as Ashley said " she has a crush in the new guy"

" you mean Hunter" asked Alec and I swear I saw he's eyes narrow a little

" yup" said Ashley

"You know he's my cousin" said Alec

" OMG we should set them up" said Sarah

" no you shouldn't" I said

" oh we should" said Alec taking out his phone

" what are you doing" I asked but he just shushed me

"Hey Hunter" said Alec into his phone and my eyes widened

"Why are you calling" asked Hunter in a whisper tone

"Why are you whispering" asked Alec

"Because I'm in the library, now back to my question why are you calling" asked Hunter

" I wanted to tell you that Chloe has a" he began but before he could finish I grabbed a handful of fries from his plate and shoved them in his mouth

" what did you say" asked Hunter
But before Alec could swallow the fries I pressed the end call button

"Seriously" said Alec before giving me a glare

" yes seriously" I said mockingly

He looked down and began typing furiously on his phone

" Alec " I said waving a hand back and forth in front of his face but he saint looks up

Maybe a second later he stopped typing and showed me his phone

On it was a text to Hunter it said
Chloe has a crush on you in bold letters

" what the hell" I screamed taking the phone away from him

" what did he write" asked Sarah and I showed her the phone, she grabbed it showing it to Ashley also

" that's hilarious" said Ashley

" no it's not I don't even like him" I said

"Sure you don't" said Alec before starting to eat the rest of his fries

" I don't" i argued but no one looked like they believed me

"Sure" said Ashley before turning to Sarah and mouthing the word no

"I gotta go get a book at the library for English" I said and began to stand

" okay we'll she you later" said Sarah

" see ya" I said and began to walk to the library

Once I entered it, I went straight to the teen fiction section and began to look for an interesting book

I was walking down one of the aisle when I bumped into someone

" oh I'm so sorry" I said backing up

" we keep meeting like this" he said  and I looked up to see Hunter

"I guess we do" I said with a small smile

" so I heard a rumour" he said with a small smirk

" I wouldn't trust rumours" I said already knowing where it's going

" let's see, do you miss Chloe have a crush on me" he said

" no" I said quickly shaking my head side to side

" you sure" he said raising one eyebrow

"Yes, it was just a prank that Alec was doing I really don't like you" I said

" you don't like me" he said his smile dropping

" oh no that's not what I mean I mean like I don't like like you, your a great friend I think I don't even know you but you look nice" I said

" Chloe I'm joking" he said, letting out a laugh

"Oh right" I said trying to hide the blush on my face

"We should hang out later" he said

" yeah sure but I gotta go so I'll see you later" I said turning around and going to the front desk

" hi do you have the book the fault in our stars" I asked

" yes just give me a second" said the receptionist

" okay" I said turning around I felt like someone was watching me but didn't see anything suspicious

I turned back around and saw somebody hide quickly behind a stack of books, I went to take a step forward but got stopped by the librarian

" here you go" she says handing me the book

" thanks" I said glancing back at the aisle but saw nothing so I went back out

I was about to leave but somebody grabbed my shoulder turning around I was about to hit them but stopped quickly realizing but was Hunter

" Hunter" I said confused I saw him five seconds ago

" I forgot to tell you something" he said getting closer to me making me blush, why do I always blush when I'm around him

"Uh what" I said taking a step back

"You shouldn't lie about crushed" he said before I could object he walked away

Someone needs to remind me to kill Alec later

A/N

OMG this is probably the longest wait ever I'm so sorry, I went on vacation then had a huge wedding to get ready for plus I have to get ready for school which is in like two weeks

So I was pretty busy anyway I hope I can get this update up more regularly, I'm really sorry again
