Chapter 5 Talent show

" Honey how are you" asked my mother as I stepped in

"Oh I'm fine other than getting attacked" I said

"ATTACKED what do you mean attacked " screamed my mother

"Exactly that someone attacked us" I said

"Do you see who it was " asked my mother

"No they were wearing masks" I answered

"Did you get hurt" asked my mother examining me

"Yes it was probably just a prank, I'm going to bed" I said as I walked up the stairs

"K just be careful" said my mother

" Are you joining the talent show" asked Ashley

"What talent show" I asked

"They do one every year anyone can join, but usually Mia wins" said Ashley

"What would I do if I join" I asked

"You could sing and Sara and I will dance in the back" suggested Ashley

"Ya but I would be to nervous to sing in front of everyone" I said

"But it will be so much fun" said Ashley

"Ya but what if I embarrass myself" I asked

"You won't plus I'll be right there" said Ashley

"When are auditions" I asked

" Friday so we have 2 days to practice the the actual competition is Monday so we have the entire weekend" said Ashley

"Fine" I said as Ashley hugged me

"It's gonna be so much fun, I have to tell Sarah " said Ashley and she ran off bumping random people including Alec

"What's with miss jumpy" said Alec as he came up to me

"Nothing much she's just excited because were joining the talent show" I said

"Cool what are you doing" he asked

"I'm singing while Ashley and her friend dance" I said

"We'll then i will be sitting front row" he said

"Why" I asked

"Hoping to video tape you and if you fail I can upload it to YouTube" he said

"Wow your so sweet" I said jokingly as the bell .

" see ya later" he said as he walked away

" I don't know which song I should do" I said

"How about taylor swift" suggested Sara

" ya what song" I said

"How about blank space" said Ashley

"That song would be perfect, I already have a bit of the dance figured out" said Sara

"So then we have out song" I said

---------------- 3 hours later --------------

" I'm exhausted " I said as I jumped onto my bed

We practiced non stop, Ashley and Sarah finished the dance and I memorized the song. I still have to practice but we still have a say so I'm not that worried I just hope that we pass auditions

" I'm so nervous" I said

"Don't worry you'll be fine" said Ashley

"But what if i forgot the words or sing it wrong" I said

" You memorized them all and are a great singer, your gonna be fine" said Sara

I hope so I thought as the director of the show said our names

"Let's rock this" said Ashley as we made our way on stage

"Hi I'm gonna be singing while they dance" I said

"Okay go when your ready" he said

"Ready set go" I whispered and then began to sing

I looked behind me and saw Ashley and Sara sticking there finally pose which was a split

"We'll contact you by tomorrow either you got in or not" said the director the he yelled " next Mia Star "

"Oh look it's miss wannabe" said Mia

"Haha so funny" I said sarcastically

"You'll never compare to me" said Mia

"Whatever bye" I said but as I was walking she stuck out her foot to trip me but I went into a summersault instead of falling on my face

"Bye Mia" I said sweetly and walked away

"How did you do that" asked Sara

"I took gymnastic lessons when I was younger" I said

"I took gymnastic lessons to but I would always get hurt so I stopped" said sara jokingly

" I'm going home I'm exhausted I'll see ya Monday " I said as I walked away

"Hello Eric" I said as I sat down in the car

"Hello miss Chloe, how was your day" he asked

"It was great" I said as he began to drive

"I'm home" I screamed

"In the kitchen" yelled my dad

"Hey dad where's mom" I said as I walked in

"She's still at work" he said

"Okay, I'm going to my room" I said as I began to go up the stairs

As I was going to my room I was stopped by eve

"Hey eve what's up" I asked

"Nothing much, but can we go out for ice cream" she asked with pleading eyes

" Um we can't were gonna eat soon" I said

"How about tomorrow" she asked

" For sure we'll go tomorrow" I told her, then walked to my room and began my homework
