665 Raven Ln.
Cedric told Thomas to pull it up on his phone, but his phone refused to find it either. He then just looked up "Raven Ln. Atlanta, Florida"it finally came up, and they were close enough to walk on foot.
"Let's go, then"Mark said, obviously trying to hide the nervousness in his voice. Cedric didn't blame him.
They continued walking for a while until they finally found Raven Lane. It was old. The road turned from smooth pavement to cracked asphalt.
Nobody on the main road went down Raven Lane. Nobody even glanced down the creepy road.
Reluctantly, the four teens continued down the road. The scenery changed dramatically. Tall sky crapers were still able to be seen, but on the sides of the roads were old houses that looked like they had been abandoned years ago. A lot of them had 'no trespassing' signs in front of them.
Ignoring the creepy houses, they continued on. The street was completely quiet, a huge contrast to the bustling main street. They passed 662, 663, 664, and finally came up on 665.
The restaurant was tucked in between two other abonden houses. The sign was still faded and unreadable. Cedric gulped as they approached the big black double door.
"for Robbi" He said without looking back at his friends.
"for Robbi"
"for Robbi"
"for Robbi"
With those murmurs of agreement, Cedric opened the doors and they entered. After the doors shut behind them it was extremely dark.
Cedric and Thomas took out their phones and used them as flashlights. Mark's phone was dead but he kept it in his hand
Christine kept hers hidden in her pocket pants just in case an emergency will happened
Cedric took in his surroundings. They were in a large room with arcades can be seen all around. Also a merry-go-round in the middle of the room .There was a door to the left, and a door straight ahead.
Next to them was a counter with a wall of prizes behind it. It was truly a place for children to have fun in here.
Suddenly a dark laugh echoed around the room. Then four mascots came out who have the same height of the gang the mascots have blood everywhere.
maybe that was the reason why was this restaurant shut down because of a murder inside a mascot Cedric thought to himself.
2 mascots went to the right and 2 more at the left side stood still and stared at the whole gang with glowing creepy eyes.
Another laugh rang out. Gabriel stepped from the doorway, his mouth was widen an insane smile, his hazel eyes gleaming in malice. He was carrying a flashlight, shining it up to the ceiling and bathing the room in a dim light.
"why look, guests"he said with an evil chuckled burst into his lips, his eyes seemed to never blink from the stare his giving to the four teens.
"Where's Robbi?"Cedric demanded, clenching his teeth hard like he wanted to bite Gabriel.
Gabriel ignored him. He caught sight of the phones in Cedric, Thomas, and Mark's hands. He let out an extremely dramatic and exaggerated gasp
He snapped his fingers and two mascots sprang forward, ripping the three phone from their hands and crushing them with one quick clench of their metal hands.
The mascots put their crushed phones back in their hands and went back to their places a while ago.
he stared at his hands and a pile of wires and glass were in there, that was his phone. Thomas and Mark had the same reaction from what Cedric had too.
the mascots hadn't found Christine's phone yet, maybe girl's are really smart hiding their phones in their pockets than bringing it out Cedric thought.
"that's better" Gabriel chirped "can't call the police now"he continue. Cedric was ranging mad now "where the hell is Robbi?" he demanded.
Gabriel ignored his question once again. He suddenly brightened even more. "i got an idea! Let's play a game! It's like hide-and-seek! I'll hide with Robbi while you guys try to find us. But as a twist, I'll send my mascots after you and if they found you, well..."he dragged a finger across his throat and let out another mad laugh.
"you're insane"Cedric spat.
"insane? That's hurtful. I prefer the term disturbed" Gabriel replied.
Cedric realized what was going to happened. If they didn't agree to this game he would probably kill Robbi. He had to do it.
"alright" he said, trying to keep his voice steady. "you're on"
Thomas and Mark erupted in protest, arguing with Cedric about how else they could have done this. While they were arguing Gabriel turned and walked back into the doorway, clicking off his flashlight.
The room was now extremely dark, and as Cedric argued with Thomas and Mark, his eyes adjust slowly.
suddenly the mascots eyes glowed and they all started talking in unison, through their voices were old and worn.
"le-le-let's play hide and ssssseek-eek-eek"
then they started counting down from twenty.
"tttwenty"
"nuh-nuh-niineteen"
"eighteeeeen"
"sevvvvventeen"
"sixxxxxteen-teen"
"fift-t-teen"
after they got to fiftheen, the four teens finally shook out of their daze. They all proceeded to dash through the games and bolt through the doorway in between the mascots
They ran through a hallway. Thomas veered a right and shoved open a door with a male sign on it, mostly likely a bathroom.
Cedric saw an open door on the left a bit further down the hall and he bolted through it. Mark had the same idea, but Christine evidently kept going because the three pairs of footsteps became two.
Cedric turned bolted into a bigger room while Mark kept going. Two pairs of footsteps became one, and Cedric was alone
the voices of the mascots rang out.
"tttten-en"
Cedric looked around for anything suspicious, tearing down wrappers and lifting up tablecloths.
"nine-ine"
Cedric ran out of the room and across the hall into a dining room. He proceeded to tear more wrappers and lift up tablecloths. Nothing.
"eight-t-t"
"sevvvven-en-en"
"sixxxxxxxx"
Cedric ran outside and down the hall. He entered a third dining room on his left and did the same thing, finding nothing.
"f-f-five"
"fou-or-or"
Cedric bolted across the hall into another room, panting heavily from exhaustion and fear.
"three-ee-ee"
"twoooo"
Cedric ducked under the furthest table from the door and tried to calm his breathing. His heart hammered against his chest.
"one-u-un"
"re-re-ready or not here we-ee come-um-um"
