The mascots got no further than fifteen when Mark started running for it. The only available place to run was through a door straight ahead.

the others took the same direction, all except Thomas who ran to the left towards the doorway.

None of the mascots seemed to noticed. Not even the word 'terrified' could explain anything on what was Mark's feeling.

He knew how real this was. He knew it was life or death situation. And he knew he had to save Robbi, and Mark will risk his life for his friends

As the four ran into the hallway, Cedric's advice echoed through Mark's head. Stay together.

They passed what appears to be the bathroom. A wide hallway opened to the left and Mark's eyes picked up a soft light at the end of the hall.

The plan of staying together completely vanished in his head, His curiosity and desperation for finding clues is taking over him \

And he veered to the left to go investigate the light further. Cedric followed, but veered to the right into another room.

the mascots voices still echoed around the building. They were at ten.

Mark didn't want to think about it.

All he knew was that he did NOT want those mascots to find him.

Snapping back to reality, Mark rushed through the doorway and banged straight into a table with a long table cloth.

There was a dim light coming from a single light bulb in the middle of the room.

He began searching the room for any clues. He threw things off the table to look for any clues but found nothing.

the room was a bit small and it has a hallway straight in front of him from where he entered and another at the right.

he then looked through all the walls to find lots of handwriting. Some where like in prison about counting the days.

and some has the words "THOSE BASTARDS" "I HATE THEM" "I'M NOT STUPID" "I'LL KILL THEM"

The mascots voices rang clearly through the restaurant.

"th-three"

"t-two-oo"

"one-un-un"

"R-r-ready or not h-here we come-um-um!"

Terror was gripping Mark, he was panicking to death. And in the hall he can hear some heavy metal footsteps coming closer.

without a second thought, he ducked beneath the table, his pulse hammering. The dim light bulb overhead blinked, threatening to go out.

An unsettling hush fell over the restaurant. He hoped the others were okay.

There was silence in the room for a few long seconds, the metallic creaks were heard nearby

"c-come out, come out-t wherevvver you a-are!!!"the mascot said as it's voice was rot and old.

Mark can see the feet of the mascot in the ground he hoped that he won't be seen by them or he will be on doomed, or maybe even DIE.

It was almost like those dreams that Mark had when he was a kid. Those dreams when he was playing hide and seek with some random persons.

But it felt much more sinister. It felt like if they found him, he would die. That was exactly what was happening now.

But the thing that really scared him about the connection to those two types of dreams, was the fact that however good his hiding place is the other person always finds him.

It was nothing like Mark had ever experience before. Being cornered, knowing he's going to die.

He wasn't even scared anymore. It was as if he was numb to all feelings. He couldn't explain.

Watching from underneath the desk, Mark saw the mascot's feet slowly making it's way around the table.

It was obviously looking for him. He just hoped that the mascot's brain's smartness isn't great.

he took a look around to find anyway to escape before he will get caught. Until something had caught his eyes.

it was boxes all on top of each other with things inside of them and then Mark had a great idea.

he begun searching his whole pocket to find a small button, strand of string and his crushed phone.

he knew that if he throw either the small button or the strand of string it wouldn't make a sound so he has to throw his phone.

Mark hesitated, even the life or death situation. He wasn't eager to chuck his phone across the room.

it then occurred to him that he was being selfish and coward. It was already broken by the mascot nearly crushing it into pieces.

he mouthed, "i love you" to the phone before throwing it away and into the boxes. It hit the boxes and cracked loudly and that made Mark winced.

The distraction works the mascot stared at the cracked phone and started to walked up to it.

Before anything could happened Mark sneaked to the right door to escape. He was beginning to be excited that he won't die.

and to all those excitement always be replaced by bad luck.

he suddenly tripped from the wires on his way it was everywhere he tripped and made a loud creak sound.

the mascot quickly moved it's head and into him and stared at his soul "i-i-i had-ad fa-fa-found yoooou"it said as it's eyes glowed and started walking up to the boy.

Mark backed up and holds his hands up, Now what?
