Music to my Ears
A very long time ago, Derek had a guitar and he taught Addison how to play it. She kept the guitar after their divorce, and she only picked it up after Meredith had discovered it again, and wanted to hear her play.
Zola and Henry both wanted to play the piano, so Meredith and Addison decided to buy a keyboard to keep in the house for them. Zola practiced every day, and eventually she became Henry's teacher.
Bailey begged to play the percussion in the school band. Addison rented a drum kit for the season to make sure he liked it, and much to Meredith's dismay, he adored it, and so the sounds of the drums kept banging on and on from the basement.
Ellis tried several times to latch onto an instrument, only her fingers were quite small which made the flute challenging. The violin and viola both made her shoulder sore. Finally, she settled on the cello, and she convinced her mother Meredith, to learn it with her.
