{ Introduction }

Myla was a kook, no denying that.

But her personality didn't really fit the kook category, so that's why she hung out with the Pogues. It took a bit for them to warm up to her but they eventually learned to love and care for her as if she was born a Pogue.

Her brother, Blake, well he didn't hang out with the Pogues like Myla, he hung out with the kooks like a kook would. He didn't have a problem with his sister hanging out with the Pogues, but his friends Topper, Rafe and Kelce definitely did.

All the kook boys loved Myla, they wanted her, but she never wanted them, they were too stuck up for her.

Myla loved that her parents didn't care either, In fact her parents loved the Pogues, especially JJ.

He would go over there a few nights a week to eat dinner with them and they would let Shea sleep over at the chateau whenever she wanted.

Of course, she still had chores and she still had to work for her privileges but her parents being so chill was a plus.

Being the richest family on the island puts a big weight on your shoulders to be the best, everyone knew who the Waters family was, there wasn't one soul on the island who didn't.

Myla definitely felt pressured to be a good kid, but when she was hanging out with her best friends she completely forgot about her image. She just wanted to have fun like a normal teenager would.

She had become friends with the Pogues when she was 13, she's now 16 so it's been a few years. Even though it's only been a few years it feels like she's known them since she was born. That's how close they are.

Her and JJ have a special connection, he always calls her princess. Nobody else can expect for him and she stands by that. It's their thing and if someone else calls her that if feels weird and wrong. they've never done anything to further their connection though.

There always flirting, there's not a day that goes by where JJ or Myla don't make a comment to each other, that chemistry had always been there, especially since Myla and JJ were each other's first kiss.

Myla had always had a crush on JJ and she didn't think it would go away anytime soon.

JJ felt the same way, he had been falling for her harder everyday and he wanted to be with her so bad.

But when a tropical depression named Agatha comes to Outer banks, the Pogues find something the probably shouldn't have found which sends them on a long adventure.

An adventure where relationships are formed and a new look on life comes into place.

Y'all I'm so excited for this book, I've wanted to do a book on this series where JJs love interest is a kook for a while.

Both of my only series the love interest is a pogue so I wanted to switch it up.
