It wasn't often that Andy took cases like this. Cases that usually got pawned off on the less experienced lawyers. After all, indecent exposure? Public intoxication? They were comparatively light crimes considering the types of cases Andy usually took on. But, Andy had a wedding to plan and he could use for some lighter case loads every now and again to ensure he had enough time to plan the perfect wedding with you.
God, he was so lucky to have you in his life. And he wanted to give you everything in the world to show you just how much he loves you. You'd come into his life right when he needed you. After the death of his wife and son, he'd moved away from Newton, away from Massachusetts. He went to New York, found employment in a private attorneys firm. He fell into the habit of burying himself in his work, an attempt to ignore the pain of his loss. But, in a way, that a good thing.

You owned a little cafe near his office, and given that he was constantly working, it was a necessity that he was well-caffeinated. The cafe was small enough that you worked alongside your baristas, and you often were the one working the morning shifts when he came in. You were full of kind smiles and sweet words as you took great care in making his coffee just the way he liked it. You even wrote cute notes on his cup, things like telling him to make sure he drinks water and that he takes a break every once in a while. It was sweet, and it make his heart race every time he thought about it.
It only took three months of him coming into your cafe to ask you out. It took five dates for him to ask you to be his. It took him a year and a half to propose. Honestly, it almost felt like he was rushing into a relationship after everything that had happened. But Andy had learned the value of time. He knew that anything could happen at any point. And he wasn't about to let something so wonderful slip on by. He wanted you to be his, now and forevermore, and he got exactly what he wanted. You now had a beautiful diamond ring adorning your finger, and he'd soon be replacing it with a dainty gold band, and he couldn't wait for that day to come.
In the mean time, though, he had work to do to make sure he could give you the life you deserved.
Which brings him to the present. Mickey Henry had been arrested for indecent exposure and public intoxication, apparently having gone streaking after finishing a set at a local club. The police had found him jumping into the fountain in town square buck ass naked, taking swigs from a bottle of vodka. Andy, who'd met Mickey at that very same club that night, went down to the station and paid the man's bail and offered to take on his case so he could get off on a light enough sentence as possible.
