Mental break

Kaylee's POV
Fuckkkk I don't want to get up today. Anna already got up to go to the beach with the girls and boys. I stayed because I didn't feel like doing anything. My mental health wasn't getting any better and for fuck sakes it's been 2 weeks and I haven't been any better any physically either. Felt like I was getting worse and we were running out of medical supplies fast.

Ryder came back eventually. I still ignored him but lately I've been ignoring everyone. I set up to go to the bathroom when I realized we ran out of tape.

"Fuck..." I whispered.

"I really don't wanna go anywhere..." I whispered again.

I went downstairs and wrote a note. I grabbed my keys and phone and left.

When I went to the door I definitely saw eyes on me. I had dark eye bags because well I haven't sleepy well at all recently. I went to the medical center when I felt a hand grab me.

"I haven't seen you in public since about 2 weeks! What's wrong?! Can't party like you use to?!" A woman said.

I turned to find my mothers face.

"Get off of me." I said walking away.

"You ran away. Shot your father. Kidnapped Layla. What else can you mess up? Oh right, your a fucking mistake. One of our best fighters is gone because of what?! SOME STUPID THING CALLED LOVE!" She yelled.

I took a lot of that in and could feel myself building tears.

"Oh stop crying you fucking disappointment." She yelled pulling on my arm.

I yanked back and she stared into my literal fucking soul.

"I don't want the title of a gang runner nor do I want the last name Dawson." I said walking away.

A guy blocked me and when I saw my dad. My heart skipped a beat.

"Fucking shot me! Eh?! Proud of ya kid but shouldn't that shot go towards Anna?! Fucking liar!" He yelled as I ran back.

I was caught in between my two parents. They kept closing the gap in between. I got a panic attack and tried to duck them.

"My precious little kid doesn't even know what love is. Your gonna get betrayed! Come back." He whispered.

"Fuck you." I said as he grabbed me by my sweater.

"You shouldn't talk to your own father like that." He said.

Mother tripped me by my own feet. I landed on the ground with my head crashing down. Like I already didn't have a head ache.

"Mom? Dad? Where are you?" A girl asked.

Both of my parents turned around and I see Layla signaling me to go. I grabbed my bag and ran off. I checked out and ran to my car driving away fast.

I was on the verge of passing out due to how hard I hit my head. I got back to the house checking the perimeter to find anyone.

I then went inside and everyone was in the living room.

"Hey. We got your note you could have asked one of us to go with you." Nick said giving me a hug.

"I don't care." I said going upstairs.

My head was hurting so much I flopped on the bed and fell asleep.

Anna's POV
As usual Kaylee is distancing herself again. I've been sleeping on the couch or with Eva and Sab.

When Kaylee got home she definitely didn't look good. When she turned around I got a good look and she was bleeding from the back of her head.

She walked upstairs as I went after her.

She was asleep but I didn't want to do it while she was asleep so I tried to wake her up.

She was finally half awoke so I helped her to the bathroom. I got the supplies from the store and stitched her cut.

"Kaylee you can't go anywhere without anyone beside you anymore this is just fucked up." I said helping her back to the room.

She didn't say anything she just nodded.

"Here take these." I said tossing her pain killers.

She caught them and took some and laid her head back.

"You okay? You want me to stay or go?" I asked.

She didn't say anything she just stared at the ceiling. I had a feeling she was zoned out.

"Hey!" I yelled as she snapped back.

"What?" She asked.

"You want me to stay or go?" I asked again.

"I don't care." she replied.

Kaylee's POV
I was thinking on how I could change everything. I'm always overthinking on that shit. The things I would be doing right now if my family was a normal family and I would be in college.

"Hey!" Anna yelled snapping me back in.

"You want me to stay or go?" she asked.

"I don't care." I said shrugging.

She left... though I didn't want her to leave but I didn't tell her to stay so I get it. She came back with a monster and a redbull giving me the monster.

"I haven't slept in this bed in awhile might as well get some sleep before I can." She said laying next to me.

"Oh yeah... sorry I've been avoiding you..." I said popping the can open.

"Yeah I get it you needed space." She said.

I love that this girls is so understanding.

"Thanks" I replied.

I could feel myself drift too sleep when I felt a head on me. Anna laid her head on my chest cuddling into me. She was asleep before I knew it and I soon followed after.

Sorry. Ummm going through a rough time rn especially on July 4th. Today was actually the day I was adopted into a family :P
