Kaylee's POV
"Kaylee?? Please come out and answer us!" Nick yelled through the door.

"Kaylee? Please!" Anna yelled through the door.

I sat there imagining what if I wasn't a gang runner... what if I was a normal person who just graduated school could get a scholarship due to my athletics... could fall in love with whoever I wanted. What if Lauren was my actually love. I've never felt this way with Anna... I have always the need to protect her. I mean she could always protect herself but I don't wanna see her hurt.

"Kaylee? It's only me... please let me in." Anna said through the door.

I couldn't get up... I was slightly drunk and on the verge of tears.

"Go away." I managed to get out of mouth.

I didn't want her to go but I didn't want her to see me like this.

"Kaylee you know I'm not leaving you." Anna said.

I got up and went to the door but sat against it. That's all I did I sat against the door rethinking my life.

"Kaylee?" Anna said on the other door.

"Are you drinking?" She asked.

Damn this girl knows everyone... and everything...

"How did you know?" I said.

I could hear a small laugh

"So you are drinking?" She asked.

"Maybe..." I said.

"Can you let me in?" She asked.

"Maybe..." I said having a smile on my face and getting up.

"Please?" She asked and I unlocked the door and that smile went away quickly.

She opened the door and came in as I closed the door. At that point I couldn't look at her because I knew I would cry.

"Kaylee... did you drink the entire bottle?" Anna asked bringing out the vodka bottle.

"No... I drank the other half like yesterday..." I said walking to the bed.

"You drank yesterday?!" She yelled.

"If you want me to lie than no." I said laying down on the bed.

I haven't even held eye contact with her for more then 3 seconds. She set the bottle down and came over. We then held contact for like 20 seconds before I started to cry.

"Not again..." I said as I rolled over.

"Kaylee... can I?" She asked referring to if she could lay in the bed.

"I don't care." I said with tears still in my eyes.

"Anna... I don't wanna do this anymore..." I said turning to her.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

"I don't want to be a gang runner anymore I want to be in college with athletics scholarships. I want to be able to fall in love without being tortured for it." I said as she put my head on her chest.

"Kaylee... I promise we can do something about that." She said.

"No because anything I do, is wrong in someone story..." I said as I could feel a ton of tears coming up.

"Can we not talk about right now? You need to calm down..." Anna said laying her head on top of mine.

"Yeah sure..." I said not moving.

I could feel myself falling asleep till we heard glass crashing and yelling. Me and Anna looked at each other and we raced downstairs.

Nick's POV
Me and Ryder were fighting till it go violent.

"Stop fighting! It's making everything worse!" Eva yelled.

"She's not wrong it is making things worse!" Emma yelled out.

"Oh and who are you to say?! You've only known Kaylee for an entire 3 months!!" Ryder yelled.

"Ryder thats it! Get out! I don't even think Kaylee wants to see you!" I yelled pushing him away from the girls.

The girls were getting scared of the violent that was happening.

"Fuck you Nick! She doesn't even recognize your love for her! Your literally a fly to her! Anna has changed her and not for the better!" Nick yelled pushing me out of the way.

He grabbed a bottle of beer from the fridge and smashed it.

"That's it I hate you." He said coming towards me.

"RYDER! WHAT THE FUCK!" Kaylee yelled from the bottom of the stairs.

Ryder looked at her and stared.

"You've unfortunately haven't taken your meds." Kaylee said walking to the kitchen.

"Take them now before I hang you upside and force swallow it into you." She said jokingly.

"Kidding by the way." She said walking back.

Ryder took the meds and dropped the glass bottle. While Kaylee was picking up the glass on the floor she looked to me.

"You hurt?" She asked.

I shook my head no as Ryder was still staring at her.

"After all I did for you... you still choose someone else over me... over us..." Ryder quietly said.

"Just because I hang out with girls doesn't mean I forgot about you guys. For fuck sakes stop thinking this shit it's getting annoying," Kaylee replied sitting down.

"Kaylee I don't want you hanging out with these girls anymore." Ryder said going into the kitchen.

The girls were all shocked including Anna.

"You choose your own choices to either be comfortable with the girls around here. Or leave." She said getting up to the fridge.

"Nothing more or less simply to like them." She yelled out getting a monster.

"And if you can't do that then don't contact me or talk to me until you get your fucking shit together." She said tossing Ryder a bottle of pills.

She went next to Anna and whispered something into ear and went upstairs.

Ryder's pov
After Kaylee said those things I felt the medicine kick in. Kaylee went upstairs and after a few minutes of Anna talking she did the same. I didn't feel good so I wanted to go home. I walked out with no questions and took Nick's car.

Anna's POV
Seeing that Kaylee surprisingly was calm with Ryder and went back upstairs she fell asleep. I laid in bed with her and she just cuddled up next to me. I was still posting tiktoks on a regularly daily basis. The girls were too and they looked like they were having fun. After awhile I felt myself go to sleep next to Kaylee.
