--Alex's POV--
I sat in the corner of the room lightly rubbing my tooth.

"I don't get it." I say to myself.

"Don't get what?" The boys head pops in out of nowhere.

"Where you listening to me?" I asked.

"No," He's obviously lying, "But what don't you get?" He asks again.

"I thought I was a..." A stopped, I couldn't get the word out.

"Vampire?" He finished for me.

"Yeah." I muttered.

"No, well, not yet exactly." He says.

"What do you mean?" I asked confused.

"You haven't finished transforming yet." He says.

"How long does that take?" I ask.

"A couple day usually." He says.

"Does it hurt?" I mumble.

"Not to bad." He shrugs sitting on my bed.

Then something on the wall catches my eye. I rub my fingers over it and make sure I read it right.

"Who's Harry?" I ask.

"What?" He asks right back.

"The wall says, Harry was here, who's Harry?" I repeat.

"Oh... That's um, me. I'm Harry." He says reminding me this whole time I didn't even know his name.

"You were in here to?" I narrowed my eyes.

He nods as if it's physically painful for him.

"My, um, my father-" He begins but I cut him off.

"You have a father?" I asked.

"Well, had. He's dead." Harry mumbles the last part.

"I'm so sorry." I say.

"Don't be." He shrugs.

"Why'd he put you in here?" I ask.

"Same reason you're in here." He says.

"But, I don't really know that reason." I say confused.

"Hungry?" He completely changes the subject.

"Actually, yeah a bit." I say holding my stomach.

He throws me a bag. It's a clear bag and on it says,

Manchester Blood Donors

I give him a strange look. He just nods as if giving me permission.

"But I'm not thirsty." I say.

"Just drink it." He says.

I hesitate but eventually open the top. I bring it up to my lips an slightly squeeze just to get a taste. But as soon as I do I want more. I gulp it down in seconds and wipe away the excess blood.

"Wow." I come to realize I just drank human blood.

He chuckled, "I'm assuming you liked it?"

"Wait, you didn't kill anyone for this did you?" My eyes widen a I throw the bag on the floor.

"No of course not. I took them from the hospital." He reassures me.

"Oh ok." I nod.

--Harry's POV--
I feel my phone vibrate,

It's Louis.

'How's she doing?-Louis'

"I've gotta go." I say and leave Alex once again.

I head upstairs and lock the basement behind me. I dial Louis's number and he picks up right away.

"Everything alright?" He asks.

"Sort of, well no." I mumble.

"Why? What happened?" He asks.

"Well she hasn't finished transforming." I say.

"Ok so?" He asks.

"It's been almost three days, she should be turned by now." I say.

"Do I need to come over?" He asks.

"Yeah probably." I nod.

"Good cause I'm already here." He says and hangs up.

I go to open the front door and Louis stands there smiling.

"Where is she?" He asks.

"Downstairs." I say letting him walk in.

He heads to the basement but waits for me to open the door. I do so and he heads straight to Alex.

--Louis's POV--

I opened the door and saw little Alex sitting up against the wall. Once she saw me she tried to back into the corner.

"No it's okay, I'm Harry's friend." I try to calm her.

"I'm Alex." She mumbles.

"I'm Louis." I smile.

Then Harry walks up behind me. I go and sit down in front of Alex. Harry stays by the door.

"Why are you here?" She asks.

"I came to see how you're doing." I say.

"I'm fine, just bored." She laughs but it turns into a cough.

"I think she needs water." I turn to Harry.

As soon as he's gone Alex asks me, "Is something wrong with me?"

"No you'll be fine." I say.

"Can I tell you something?" She whispers.

"Of course." I say.

"Harry scares me." She says even quieter.

"Oh you shouldn't be scared of him. I know this whole situation is scared as well but Harry is the least of you're worries." I smile at her.

"Ok, thanks um..." She seems embarrassed for forgetting my name already.

"Louis." I remind her.

"Louis, right." She says just as Harry comes back.

"For someone who has super speed you took a while." I tease him.

I hand Alex the water and then Harry and I head back upstairs.

"Do you think she'll be okay?" Harry asks.

"She's fine, just I late bloomer." I shrug.

He nods and I make my way back home.
