"Here's a beautiful flower, for another beautiful flower" Quinn faced flushed, her cheeks went tomato red, it was so adorable. I was so happy when she became my girlfriend, the girl who known ever since my childhood was now mine.

"You're so sweet, you know that" I gave her a smile. I would do anything to make her happy. We were at our spot, the 4 swings in the playground we use to go as kids. I looked at the other empty swing sets, I used to sit on the end, next was Quinn, Troy then Chan, now it was just the two of us.

I didn't mind though, I was finally alone with Quinn, Troy was gone forever, while Chan's a completely different person now. "Babe, you okay?" oh crap, I dosed off a little there thinking about the past.

"Yeah I'm okay. Never mind that" I assured her. Quinn simply shrugged and continued to swing. "Hey can I tell you something" my heart skipped a beat, nobody say 'hey can I tell you something' and says something good afterwards.

I readied myself for what was she was going to say. "I had a weird dream last night" Ohh thank god she wasn't going to break up with me, If that happened I would've killed myself. "What is it about?" I asked her, she was playing with her thumbs and was looking down. Whatever it was, it was really troubling her.

"Well" she started "it was you and me in a car, suddenly there was a truck driver who crashed into us sending our car to the river" she stopped for a second, obviously traumatized "it all happened so fast, I couldn't save you, I reached out but I just can't. It all felt so real".

I got up from my swing and helped her up from hers and hugged her.

"That will never happen, I promise" Quinn was weeping waterfalls. It hurts seeing her so broken, however it was a different type of broken I've seen it before, I just couldn't point out where.

"C'mon lets go home" I told her, hugging her tight. Shortly afterwards she loosed her hug and we began to walk to the car, leaving our favorite spot.

The drive home was a little quiet, just small chit chat. I pulled over to her front yard and unlocked the doors "Thanks, I had a lot of fun today" she said.

"Yeah me too" she looked down again face flushed, "I leaned in closer to her until I could smell her perfume, in response she leaned closer to me until our lips were centimeters apart.

A little later after that our lips touched, I cupped her cheeks and continued to kiss her she was enjoying it. it wasn't our first kiss as a couple though, we had kissed many times before but this just seemed so right, so perfect nothing could ruin it.

Suddenly she pushed me away, "Rohan stop" she said "I have to go now".

I looked down. Disappointed. "I'm sorry was all I got to say before she closed the door and headed to her front porch.

Once I knew she was inside her house I crashed my head on the steering wheel, causing my honk to go off. "God dammit, what did I do wrong" I thought to myself. After what seemed like hours (3 minutes) I started the car again and began to drive home.

NEXT DAY

'I hate taking the bus' I thought to myself, apparently last night my cars front wheel had gone flat, forcing me to use public transportation. I hated the bus, tight, dingy, and unsafe. For me that is.

The bus ride was terrible, I was sitting next to a guy (ugly guy) I didn't have the window seat, the bus music was Bieber and the vehicle looked like it was going to fall apart like it was made out of Legos.

After 15 minutes of pure hell the bus reached a bus stop near our school, I quickly got down because I swear to god I didn't want to stay in there a second longer. While going down however I bumped into some guy "Sorry" he said. My world stopped, I knew that voice from somewhere, I just couldn't point my finger at it.

I looked back to see who it was but he had a hood on, I watched him take his seat near the window. I watched carefully as the bus began to move 'remove your hood, you son of a bitch' I thought to myself.

Suddenly he did, my blood boiled instantly.

It was Troy.
