RIKA

"H-hey Rika" I looked up to see who it was, it was Tom. Tom was a good friend of mine, he would always help me out whenever I was stuck on a really hard question in the Core subjects (Math and Science). He's a bit nerdy I have to admit, with the Glasses and braces but he's okay I guess.

He was in front of me with face flushed and holding a small bouquet of roses. "Do you wanna go to a movie with me" I smiled and accepted the roses "Thanks Tom but I can't I'm sorry." I wasn't in the mood to start dating again, and I wasn't going to start with Tom, yes I know it's mean but I like him more as a friend.

"Oh I-I don't mean today, we can go some other time" he was getting desperate, I had to lay it on him that I wasn't interested but I didn't want to hurt his feelings. The problem was I don't know how to do it.

"I'll see" ohh crap I just gave him false hope, he ended up with a painfully wide smile. "ohh thank you so much, I promise you won't be disappointed.

It was still a good half an hour before my next class so he took a seat and we ended up talking, Tom mostly talked about school stuff and I just sat there listening to him rant about Calculus and Micro molecules.

"say where is that guy that you always hang out with" My eyes widened, the memories were flooding in again both good and bad ones, but what kept replaying in my head was when we opened Troy's door only to find that he had left.

"He-hey are you okay" Tom had his hands on my shoulders and was facing me. "Yeah-yeah" I replied removing his hands from my shoulders. "You were dazed for a second there like you were staring into space or something, are you sure?"

"Ye-yeah I'll be fine" I replied "I gota go now, bye" I got my bag and notebooks that was on the bench and began to walk towards my next class. I needed to be alone for a while. Forget about stuff.

ANGELINE

I wiped the dried tears from my eyes and continued to wait for a single reply from Troy, its been about a week since he left and I was still here crying my eyes out while Rika decided to completely forget about it.

I was in my room most of the week hugging my pillow and wearing the jacket that he gave me, Aunt Rose was getting a bit worried because I was missing a lot of school but I didn't matter because I was on the Dean's list.

I brought the jacket up to my face and inhaled it, it still has its aroma on it even after so long. "Angel! Dinner!" I signed and got up from my untidy bed, my room was a mess but I didn't care, it would just end up getting messy again if I fixed it anyway. I dragged myself downstairs to see Aunt Katherine and Uncle Lucas already eating dinner, "sit down and eat dear, Rika already ate so you can take her place" I gave a small smile and did as I was told.

After dinner I headed back to my room, only to see my sister fixing up my room. "What are you doing" I asked sort of pissed. "Look you're not gonna get anywhere if you keep moping around, you need to get your shit together and go back to school" she continued to clean up my messes and fix my room while I stood in front of the door dazed. Until she picked up Troy's jacket.

"Leave that alone!" I yelled attempting to snatch it from her. Rika quickly raised the jacket up a few inches from my reach "give it!" I yelled. I frantically trying to get it from her, but she had to be a little bit taller than me. "You're not going to feel any better with this with you all the time" I was on the verge of crying until I saw the bracelet on her wrist.
