Still Bennett's POV

I finally finished my commissions, I decided to head back to the adventurers guild to claim my rewards.
"Hey Katheryne!"
"Hello Bennett, finished with your commissions I see!" She smiles.
"Yep! I got a few scratches, but it's worth it!" I give her a thumbs up.
"Be sure to take care of yourself more. Oh and here are your rewards. Thank you for completing your commissions."
"No problem! I owe it to you guys anyway."
"You don't owe us anything Bennett, you're just a kid. Hang in there, your adventure team will grow I promise you. You just have to find the right people." She says as she tries to sympathize with me.
"Thank you Katheryne, it means a lot." I reply and smile.
"No problem. Now go take care of your scratches! And have a nice day."
"You too!" I leave.
As I walk up the paved staircase next to the souvenir shop I see the same boy and Lisa at good hunter.
I was gonna go eat there anyway, might aswell say hi. Plus it gives me an excuse since I know Lisa from Cyrus.
"Hey Lisa!" I greet her and wave.
She turns around and smiles at me, "hello, dear. What are you doing here?" She asks.
"Oh I just finished my commissions! And I just came here to grab a bite to get some energy back." I reply.
"Oh, alright!" She says.
The gray haired boy turned around but then turned straight back at the counter every now and then.
"Wait have you met Razor yet?" She asks.
"Oh, uh no I haven't!" I reply and rub the back of my head.
"Well, Razor say hi to Bennett!" Lisa says and pats his head.
He stands there for awhile but turns around slowly and says "hello." quietly.
"Hi!" I reply and wave.
He turns back around to face Sara, the worker at Good hunter.
"Well, I'm glad you guys met now! Even though Razor is somewhat shy, hopefully things work out in the future!" Lisa says and ruffles my hair gently.
"Yeah!" I reply.
Lisa and Razor grab the bags of food that they bought and turn around.
"Bye Bennett!" Lisa says and walks off with Razor.
"Bye Ms. Lisa!" I wave goodbye to her and turn to the good hunter stand.
"Hello, Bennett! What can I get for you?"
"Just a couple mushroom skewers please!" I reply to Sara.
"Coming right up! That'll be 900 mora." She says.
I grab the 900 mora from my left side pouch and put it on the counter.
"Here you go! And have a nice day." She says and hands me a small brown bag.
I thank her and take the bag. "You too!"

Time skip

I decided to head home, it had been a long day. If I see Razor again tomorrow I'll try to talk to him more, maybe we could hang out or something?
I walked in through the door to see dad in the kitchen.
"Hey dad!" I greet him and poke my head into the kitchen.
"Hey Bennett!" Cyrus replies and pats my shoulder.
"You go upstairs and get ready for bed, okay? Unless you're hungry." He says.
"I'm good, thanks dad!" I reply and run up the stairs.
When I get to my room I change into my typical clothing suitable for bed, usually a loose tank top and shorts.
After I finish getting changed I laid down on my bed and stared up at the white popcorn ceiling, with a grayish blue tone from the dark blue sky outside of the rectangular window.
As I stared I tried to count every single speck that was shaped like a piece of popcorn, I soon drifted off to sleep.

Razor's POV

I had thought about it for awhile, who was the that boy? Mom acted as if she had known him, but I've never seen him before.. At least.. I don't remember him?. I don't know. I have lost most of my memories since I moved in with mama Lisa.
I'll ask her at some point.
"Come down for dinner Razor!" She exclaims from downstairs.
"Coming!" I reply and walk downstairs.
She sits down at the table, I notice another plate of food so I sit and start eating.
"Sorry it's a little late dear, work is causing some delays. But I promise they'll all be minor." She says to me.
"Don't stress mom. Razor can help." I reply.
She smiled and ruffled my hair.
"I love you Razor."
"I.. Love you." I reply, interpreting sentences is somewhat hard for me. I know what to say, I always have. But saying it out loud is what's hard for me.
It really bothers me though, I feel dumb.
She hugs me and gets up from the table to put her dishes away.
"I'm gonna go lay down, I have to get up really early again tomorrow for work. I have something set up for you as well for awhile I'm gone, so make sure you go to bed early." Mom says as she tightens her soft purple robe.
"Goodnight angel." She says and walks upstairs.
"Night! Razor will!"
I don't know what's going on tomorrow, but I might as well listen to mom and go to bed.
I put my dishes in the dish washer and walk upstairs to bed.

Sorry these are so horribly written, I'm not a great writer lmao. But, if you're still here then hopefully that means you're able to deal with how chaotic and messy my writing is. Thank you for staying this far though! I've really enjoyed writing the story so far :]
