Still Bennett's POV

I get to my house after a short walk from Lisa and Razor's house.

My heart started to pound rapidly

        badump, badump, badump
(Sorry I'm not good at sensory writing)

The sound was constantly ringing in my ears, I had no idea why.

I decided to walk to the kitchen and get a glass of water, I'm starting to worry I might've come down with something... Again.

After drinking water my heart started to calm down.

What even was that? I felt like my heart was gonna jump out of my chest and fly away.
(if you understand this reference I love you)

I decided to just take my mind off of it and go to sleep, it was getting late anyway and my dads were all asleep.

Lisa's POV

Ahh.. I'm so glad Razor is finally making friends. He's growing up so fast! Though I didn't raise him, I only rescued him four years ago, I still love him so much.

Razor deserves the best and I hope that he will be able to do his best when me and him have to part.

Anyways I think Razor went to bed? He seemed tired when he got home.

It made me happy to see that Bennett was there with him, knowing that an amazing kid like him was there with him, he would definitely be okay.

Even if Bennett is unlucky and harms himself often, I have noticed that he always makes sure people get home safe, even if he may not come home that day.

I was hoping Razor would make friends with Bennett, but it had to come naturally.

I get up and prepare lunch for when I had to go to work tomorrow, I usually do stuff in the library, but it's still important do bring food.

I usually prepare it the night before so that I'm ready.

When I finish making lunch for tomorrow, I put the finished product in the fridge and get ready for bed.

The next morning !

Dun, dun, dun, dun

I jerk awake to the sound of something being hit, but soon realize that it's the sound of small rocks hitting the window.

I walk over and open the window to look down at who was throwing rocks at the house.

It was the same pale ash-gray haired boy.

"What are you.. Doing Bennett." I ask and look down at him.

"I promised I would take you adventuring!" He says and smiles brightly.

I felt exhausted, but yeah why not I guess.

"Okay." I reply and shut my window.

I turn to the closet and put on my usual attire.

I walk downstairs to see mom gathering her things for work.

"Do you need help?" I ask.

"No I don't sweetie." She replies and pats my head gently.

"I'm gonna head to work, I'll see you later. And make sure to get back home safely!" She says and shuts the door behind her.

I grab a granola bar out of the small fridge and head outside where Bennett was.

"Hey, Razor!" He waves.

"Hi Bennett." I reply.

"So, for our adventure I was thinking that we could go check out this cool area, it looks almost abandoned!" He says excitedly.

"Okay."

"Alright! I'll lead the way." He walks ahead of me proudly.

I don't say much, I just follow him.

We get to a old domain sighting tucked in the forest, how did he find this place? That I don't know.

"How.. Did you find this place?" I ask him.

"I saw it on my way back to Mondstadt one time! But I made sure to mark it on a map!" He exclaims as he shows me a mini map he has been holding in his hands.

"Oh."

"So, I think we should go inside! It's clearly abandoned, there might be treasure inside."

"Okay."

Bennett smiles and crawls inside through a large hole that was in the entrance of the domain.

He gestures me to go in with him, so I walked over and then squirmed through the hole.

Bennett is a bit smaller than me, both weight wise and height wise. So getting through the hole was a bit harder.

As I crawl through he grips my arms gently and pulls for support.

"We got in!" He exclaims.

"Thank you." I say and wipe off some of the dirt on my pants.

"No problem!" He replies and give a thumbs up

"What do we do?" I ask him.

"Well we should follow this path! I'm assuming the chest will be deeper in, if it hasn't been taken already."

"Okay." I reply and start walking deeper within the abandoned domain.

He runs a bit to catch up with me.

As we got farther in the domain it got darker. When we suddenly heard an odd noise coming from the darkness.

Bennett pulls out a large sword with a falcon on it, a wing covering the grip of the sword.

I wanted to grab my weapon, but I kinda left my claymore at home. Eheheh..

We meet the creatures the noise was coming from

Ah yes chapter 5. The longest story I've ever actually bothered to write.

I'm so sorry this is such a damn slow burn [cry] but I guess it's worth the character development.
