Still Bennett's POV

"Hi mom!" Razor gets up and hugs her.

"What have you guys been up to?" She replies with a chuckle.

"Well, we got to do a ton. We went to shops, met new people, and I also found this dog!" Razor turns and picks Emerald up off the chair.

"Aww, she's so adorable!" Lisa says and pets her.

"Mom, I wanted to ask you something." Razor mutters.

"What is it?" Lisa replies with a slightly confused look on her face.

Razor looks back at me with a nervous look, I know exactly what was going on.
I give him a thumbs up, so he tries not to worry so much about it.

"Can we keep her?" He asks and starts petting the dog nervously.

"Oh.. I don't know Razor.." She responds and puts her hand on her chin.

Razor saddens and looks down at the dog, the one he had been protecting since he found her on the street.

I get up and walk over to Lisa, I couldn't just let Emerald stay here.

"Can I talk to you?" I ask her.

"Of course." She replies and follows me outside.

"Well about the dog.."

"I don't know if Razor is ready, and I don't have time to take care of her." She said with a sigh.

"Razor has been attached to that dog since we found her, he even found a vet who got the dogs wounds checked out, he even named her."

"I know but how am I supposed to make sure that the dog won't destroy the house?"

"She's a good dog, very calm. Plus, I'll help take care of her since you have work!"

"Hmm.. Alright. You promise??" She asks with a grin.

"I promise."

"Good! Then let's head back to Mondstadt!" She beams and walks back inside where Razor was.

"Guess what sweetie?" She says and pokes Razor's shoulder, who was sitting in the chair, looking down at the dog.

He sniffles quietly. "What is it?"

"I'm gonna let you keep her, but you have to promise to take good care of her!"

"Really?" He replies and turns his head, showing mixed emotions on his face, excitement, confusion, and previous sadness.

"Mhm. Now let's get back to Mondstadt!"

Time skip

We got back to the same old Mondstadt, though it was nothing new, it still felt nice to come back home.

The same people outside on the same streets of Mondstadt, doing the same daily activities.

We walk up to Good Hunter.

"Hello! What can I get you guys?" Sara greets us.

"Four mushroom skewers!" Lisa puts 1,800 mora down on the counter.

"I'll be right back with your order!" Sara turns around and prepares the order.

"Go sit down." She points to a table in front of the good hunter.

Me and Razor walk over to the table, the dog sitting in his lap.

"Thank you for coming!" Sara says and hands Lisa a bag.

She walks over to us and puts the bag down on the table.

"Everyone gets one for now, it's not a ton but I think it'll be a good snack." She says and picks one up, handing it to the puppy.

"Aww ur such a cutie!" She says as she pets the dog, now chewing on a mushroom skewer.

Razor picks one up as well, looking down at the dog.

"Eat your food Razor." Lisa demands. Catching him in the act of trying to feed the puppy who had already been eating.

He signs and chews on the mushroom skewer.

"Sorry I picked you guys up early, Klee's birthday is tomorrow. So I had to get you guys last second." Lisa sighs and stretches, clearly exhausted from all the work today.

"I have something prepared." Razor says and smiles.

Third Person POV

"We better get going! It's getting late." Lisa picks up the bag and throws it away in a nearby trash can.

Razor gets up and walks towards Bennett.

"Thank you. I had fun." The scarlet eyed boy thanks him, his cheeks a powder pink.

"Don't thank me, I had fun too!" Bennett replies and gives him his signature thumbs up.

Razor leans in and wraps his arm around the other, his other arm holding the small dog in between them.

Bennett's face quickly swells a crimson red, not expecting the sudden affection from the other.

Lisa looks back at the two boys and grins.

"Aww.. That's cute." She stops, now waiting for the boy.

Bennett calms down and hugs the other back, trying to keep his cool.

"Bye. " Razor smiles and walks back towards his mother.

Bennett waves back at them and watches as they leave to go back home.

Bennett rests his hand on his chest, still beating like crazy.

'Yeah, I think I'm in love.'

I just realized I could totally just end the story right here and force you guys to imagine the rest yourselves, but I want to give you guys the ending my lovely viewers deserve !

I'm not exactly sure WHERE this is ending, but it's definitely coming soon. I had an amazing time writing this story though!

Also I'm going to write Xingyun, I had a growing love for it because of an animation I watched lmao. So be ready for that! More Rannett coming in the future, probably gonna be a one shot book though.
