Bennett's POV

in case you can't tell later this chapter, this POV takes place earlier when Razor leaves the house

There's not much I can do here in Mondstadt. Due to my horrible luck, I'm not allowed to do really anything. If I have the slightest bit of luck I'll get some commissions.

Since I can't do anything, I have a special spot that I hang out at so I can't bother others daily lives with my luck.

When I get out the door I walk towards Wolvendom, believe it or not I know a lot about the surrounding areas of Mondstadt!

I decide to head towards Wolvendom, there's a really pretty scenery from up on the mountains!

I find a spot while climbing the mountain so that I can get my stamina back up again, I almost fell off from how tired I got!

When I get to the top of the mountain, I see a cliff and sit at it.

The big blue sky and fluffy white clouds were a very pretty sight, I decided to sit there and chill for awhile.

One of my buddies Klee has a cousin who is a great painter, he's a cool guy! And he actually showed me how to paint the sky. I might as well try those techniques I learned now. I pull out a piece of paper and a handheld water color palette.

I tilt the paint brush at different angles while painting the clouds to give some fluff to them.

I look over and notice a bunch of wolfhooks surrounding the areas, so I decided to add some to my painting!

I finish the painting and put the brushes and water color palette in my small bag as I admire the painting. I soon put it in my bag with my other things.

I hear the sound of foot steps coming from behind me and turn around to see the same boy I had seen with Ms. Lisa yesterday.

I stare at him for a minute, I don't know why. Maybe cause I was surprised?

I smile at him, "come here!" I say and gesture him to the empty spot in the grass next to me.

"Okay." He replies quietly and walks over to sit next to me.

We sit in silence for a good minute.

"So, your name is Razor right?" I ask.

He nods and stares off into the distance.

"Well I'm Bennett! It's nice to meet you Razor!" I reply and give him a thumbs up.

"Nice to meet you too." He says and looks at me.

I smile at him in return.

"So, what do you like to do?" I ask him.

"Hmm.. Razor.. Don't know." He says and rubs his chin gently.

I stare at him for a second again and then reply, "that's okay! We can go do something together! There are many possibilities!" I exclaim and pat his shoulder.

"Okay."

I have to think for a second, I'm embarrassed to ask and I don't want him to get hurt, but it's worth one try!

"Great! Can I maybe.. Take you adventuring? Tomorrow??"

"Sure. Razor would like to." He replies.

"Great!!"

I do have to let him know about my luck though.

"I do have to warn you though.. My luck is really bad. I don't want you to get hurt though, so if something happens, please leave and try to get home before further harm comes to you."

"Okay. Razor will be careful. But Razor does not have a problem with that." He talks oddly, but I like it. It's unique!

"That's good, I'll try to make sure nothing happens to you though, I would feel awful if you got hurt adventuring with me..." Just the thought of losing even more people hurts.

"The sun is setting soon, we should both get home!" I say and reach out for the long gray-haired boy's hand.

He hesitates but grabs my hand. I lift him off the ground.

"Do you know your way back home?" I ask him.

"No. I just wandered here."

"Alright! I'll take you back! I don't know where you live necessarily, but I can take you back to town."

"That will be fine. Thank you." He replies gratefully.

My face heats up a bit, "no problem! Happy to help a friend!" I exclaim and give him another thumbs up.

We walk down the mountains, using the edges as stepping stones.

"Okay, so now just follow me! I'll get us back home!" I tell him and start heading towards Mondstadt.

When we got to the entrance of Mondstadt the sun was setting.

We stopped at the center of Mondstadt.

"If you want, I can take you home! You'd just have to lead the way, but I'd be happy to take you!" I blurt out without thinking.

He simply nods and turns towards his house.

We keep waking until we get to the doorstep of his home.

"Here is home." He says.

"Alright! I'm glad I got to bring you back-" I heard the sound of a door openly loudly before I could finish my sentence.

"Razor you're finally home! Where were you?" Ms. Lisa says.

"Razor met a friend." He says and points to me. I felt my face turn pink.

"Oh hello Bennett!" She greets me.

"Hello Ms. Lisa!" I reply and wave.

"So I see you made a friend! That's great!" She says with a smile.

Razor nods and walks inside the house. He waves me off and I wave back.

When he walks upstairs, Lisa looks back at me.

"So, how did it go?" She said with a grin.

"How did what go?" I say confusedly.

"You making another friend! I'm so happy Razor finally has a friend." She exclaims.

I rub the back of my neck. "I'm happy!" I reply and smile.

"I'm glad! I just know you guys will be best friends in no time!" She exclaims.

"Me too."

"Oh and it's getting quite dark out, do you want me to take you home?" She says.

"No I'll be fine! Thank you for the offer." I reply.

"Alright! Oh and, thank you for bringing Razor back home for me." She says gratefully and ruffles my hair gently.

"No problem, it was my pleasure!" I say and give her a thumbs up.

"Alright, well I'm gonna go to bed. Night Bennett." She says in a sweet tone.

"Good night Lisa!" I wave her goodbye and walk home.

Sorry this is mostly the same as the last chapter! But I thought it would be nice to see this at both POV's, I'm gonna do that with all important parts in the story.
