I'd like to apologize because this is just another author's note.

But, i feel like i need to express my mind because i am genuinely stuck and confused and made a considerable lapse of jud—

To get to the point, what the fuck is Y/n????? Genuinely, what the fuck is he. Some sort of gremlin, yes but what else? I'd like someone to comment what the fuck his motivations are because while reading my own book i couldn't tell what the point of his character was.

I am aware that this is a reader's insert but I can't help but feel unrationally mad about how his character is lacking. Yes, hes a fun little grempin boi who happens to just be the brother of Harry fucking Potter and the love interest of the balding Draco Malfoy but what else???

I have alot in mind while writing him but it doesn't seem to translate when I'm actually making the chapter.

Though yes, he doesn't really need to have a good motivation because like Harry, he's a mostly passive character which is pushed by the story. They can't catch a break cause some dead man is trynna revive himself, oh shit. But basically while Harry and he have similar backgrounds I wanted him to be a stark contrast of his twin.

An arrogant yet loveable douchebag who's witty and maybe a little bit dense.

Did i achieve that? I don't fucking know lmfOaosksk (que tears)

I took liberties and took some characteristics from sherlock holmes, jack sparrow and various other characters. The sherlock holmes characteristics immediately went poof after act one for some reason. Did i forget about it? Probably.

I feel like his character in act 2 just saw the yellow brick road, laughed at it, threw a corpse in the middle, demolished it then went off the rails. He's supposed to be a smart douchebag, not just a douchebag. AHHHH

I just wanna know what you guys think.

also what you guys think if I basically redo the entire act two. its a mess because it's the only act i didn't really plan. Act 3,4,5,6,7 are all coherent but for some reason act 2 decided to fuck itself.
