Over the course of Christmas break, Y/n had been extremely bored. So bored, in fact that he actually helped Harry with the Nicolas Flamel situation. Though they didn't find anything about the man, they did find the mirror of Erised. An odd mirror which showed your heart's greatest desires.
They didn't make progress until Hermione came back and pulled out a giant book that she used for 'light reading'. Nicolas Flamel was the owner of the philos stone. Fast forward to much much later.
Hermione stressed as she studied, urging the other three to do the same, though none of them listened. "What's the first planet to circle the sn?" Y/n asked, his eyes peering up from his book.
"Seriously? How can you forget?" Ron said, furrowing his brows in confusion. Y/n shrugged, "I had to make room for the course books," he replied, turning the page of the book he got from the library, "Ergo I got rid of unnecessary rubbish" he explained.
Y/n held the book by one of its sides, holding it up. "This book is to be forgotten too" he sighed, is face scrunching up. Hermione looked at the book the boy held, it was one of Gilderoy Lockhart's best selling books, Gadding with the ghouls.
"The way he trapped the last ghoul in the tea kettle is quite clever, don't you think?" Hermione inquired. The raven head simply shook his head, standing up to return the book to the library.
Y/n walked slowly, liking the cold breeze that flowed throughout the castle. He didn't even acknowledge the fact that someone bumped into his shoulder.
"Well, well, if it isn't freak Potter"
Malfoy expected some sort of sarcastic remark from the other, only to be met by silence as he and his goons watched the boy walk away. He furrowed his brows, crossing his arms, "Did that chav just ignore me?"
He huffed stomping off while Crabbe and Goyle only shrugge at each other, confused because of the blonde's reaction.

Draco's eyes fluttered open as he heard the bed next to his creaking, followed by footsteps then the door opening and closing. He rose up, rubbing his eyes.
Y/n was gone. Raising a brow, he decided to follow the boy. His suspicions were confirmed when he saw the mop of black hair leave the common room, waiting a few seconds before he chased after the other.
Peeking from the corner, Draco didn't see Y/n but instead saw a silver fox with incredibly messy hair; it was all over the place. Though he was quite dumbfounded, something told him to follow the fox.
He struggled keeping out of the fox's sight and trying not to get caught by Filch, though in the end, he arrived at Hagrid's hut where the fox sat down, waiting for something.
Dumbfounded, The blonde decided to stay hidden behind some bushes, and soon enough three faces he grew to hate showed up.
"Why is there a fox here?" Hermione asked, backing away as the fox grew larger in form.
"What took you all so long? Waiting here was incredibly boring" Y/n whined, giving them a small pout. The genius looked at him in bewilderment, "W-What?! Blimey, you're an animagus?!"
The raven head nodded, "Since when?!" Hermione questioned.
Ron smiled, "Chrismas break," he answered. "You missed him accidentally scratching Mrs. Norris"
"Oh bollocks," Y/n interjected. "Accidentally? We all knew it was on purpose, no need to make me such an angel"
Harry stifled a laugh, "I don't think anyone thinks of you as an angel, dear brother" he remarked.
