"We have arrived, sir" Seungcheol got off the carriage and helped his mother out. "Thank you for the ride" he bowed to the two workers before he held out his hand for his mother to hold, his mother gladly doing so.

The two were in awe at how vast the castle was. Maids and servers are everywhere. Everything looked expensive making them walk with caution, afraid of breaking anything.

Before the two could admire the place more, a man in a fancy suit approached them. "Are you Choi Seungcheol, sir?" "Yes, I am. This is my mother, Son Hyunji" the man bowed to the two and they did the same politely "I am Hong Jisoo, Prince Jeonghan's personal servant. Please come with me"

Seungcheol and his mother were led through the castle halls before they entered the royal wing that belonged to the prince.

That's where Seungcheol saw Jeonghan sitting on a chair combing his long blonde hair, singing a sweet melody. For some reason, he felt giddy hearing the prince's soft voice and smelling the lovely citrus scent. "They're here, your majesty"

The heir turned around and stood carefully as he let out calming pheromones that made Seungcheol's tense body relax almost immediately.

The long-haired prince smiled gently and Seungcheol felt light looking at how graceful the prince was with everything he did. His shiny blonde hair complemented his soft white skin beautifully as he slowly made his way toward the head of the army.

"Nice to see you again, Seungcheol" he spoke making the raven-haired alpha tilt his head in confusion. The omega prince chuckled as he sensed his confusion before speaking again.

"You might not remember, but two years ago. There was an attack in the castle and you were there" Jeonghan's smile never left his face as he remembered the brave man standing in front of him and protecting him from the three alphas that almost ended his life.

After the emergency bell rang across the kingdom, Jeonghan was told to stay in his wing until the attack was over. Hearing the loud screams of the maids and the painful grunts of the servants scared the prince. He hugged his pillow close to him and stayed as quiet as possible.

That was until he heard a hard kick on his door and three deep voices that definitely didn't belong to his parents nor Jisoo.

He quickly got up and took scissors from his vanity's drawer, before getting ready to attack. As a member of the royal family, he was taught how to fight. He learned how to use archery and how to swing a sword to protect himself, but being an omega meant that he was weak, even if he had all these skills up his sleeve. He knew he wouldn't be able to take the three men behind the door, but he didn't want to give up just yet.

The kicking at the door only got louder and he was getting more afraid, slightly contemplating the idea of facing them and trying to take them down.

Suddenly, the protective door was taken down and the three men barged inside, scaring the omega as he moved back with every step the three took.

His back hit the bookshelves causing books to come falling down. Luckily, he was able to move out of the fast enough before it hit his head, resulting in it hitting one of the alphas that tried to jump at him when he moved.

That certain alpha with the disgusting smell of rust got angry and made heavy steps toward Jeonghan, who only panicked more and stabbed the scissors into his leg before running out of the wing. The other two were quick to run after him, leaving the other groaning in pain.

"Leave me alone!" the prince yelled as he looked back to see the two still after him. But that was a bad decision because he ended up tripping on the crooked carpet and falling, scraping his knees on the hard ground.

"Hah! Stupid omega" he heard one say in a deep voice as he raised his arm ready to swing the sword at the heir to the throne. Jeonghan closed his eyes waiting for the impact but it never came. He opened his eyes and saw a broad muscular figure standing ahead of him, protecting the petite omega from the enemy.

"Get back!" the alpha demanded, scaring the two alphas, that were now weaponless due to the skilled soldier that stood ahead of them. Just as they were about to flee, two of Seungcheol's colleagues cuffed them down, with the other injured alpha coming in sight. He was limping but still cuffed, as the other soldier held him tightly.

"You'll have to get a lesson you won't forget" Seungcheol hissed at the three and walked away, signing his colleagues to follow him, leaving the prince love-struck and unable to thank him.

"I spent two years searching for you. Finally, I found you, my savior" the prince said, leaning closer towards the man that saved his life and placing a hand on his chest as he inhaled the familiar scent of roses coming from the soldier.
