Sorry for such long gaps between chapters... life happens, ya know? That's all I got. Love y'all!

Drift continued his stories, describing each member of the autobots team and their human friends. He happened to notice how silent she'd gotten over the last few stories and finally noticed she had called asleep. He let his holoform fizzle to life in the drivers seat and reached back into his backseat to grab a small sheet to cover her with. He placed it over her and moved a piece of stray hair from her face behind her ear. She smiled gently and sighed peacefully.

"Ivory. You have shown great kindness to our kind and saved my life once already. "

He pulled the sheet up to her shoulders and nodded to himself. "I am forever in your debt and you have somehow made your way into my spark. I will protect you- as a father would protect his own- no matter what. That is my promise to you "

He let his holoform dissipate as he continued driving beside his friend Ironhide.

Over a thousand miles away, another Autobot carefully swerved between traffic on the busy highway. Three black SUV's following.

"Sam- now's your chance! "

The car spoke, and yes bumblebees voice had been repaired. Just before their base had been attacked as well, most of the bots didn't even know he had his voice back.

He slowed slightly as the boy hung out the window. Bumblebee feared for his safety.... But something's Sam was too stubborn to let go.

"Bee go! Don't slow down I'll be okay! " The boy, Sam, leaned further outside the rolled down window; aiming a large alien looking weapon and shooting. A wave of electrical currents caused one SUV to crash into the median and flip.

"Sorry! Not sorry! " He called out, leaning back inside the yellow car.

"Alright Bee. How many more shots we got? "

"One- " The Autobot said worriedly as one more large battery looking box came from the glove box.

Sam looked behind them. He loaded the gun and sighed. "One shot, that's all we need. Isn't that what we said before? In Chicago. "

"Yes, But you- "

"We can do it again. Don't worry, I got this. " Sam leaned his body back out the window but he found that he couldn't get a clear shot without involving civilians.

The police would most likely be on the way soon with all the witnesses... not good.

"Hang on Bee... I can't get a clear shot! Just keep it steady okay?! " He yelled out. He placed the gun on the roof and climbed all the way out, Sam laid across the roof of the Camaro, one foot handing off the inside of the passenger door.

"Sam! " Bee called out in worry; trying his best not to swerve between lanes and other cars. But with that, he had to slow down letting the SUV's get closer.

Sam squinted his eyes, aiming the weapon. "I got this, I got this... come on. "

Sam mumbled. The second two SUV's lined up perfectly, he yelled out and pulled the trigger. His body jerked backwards at the force. He let the gun go as it forced him back and crashed onto the road; the weapon being ran over by multiple vehicles and getting destroyed. Sam's body slid backwards to the hood of the car.

"Sam- hold on! " Bumblebee called out. Sam clung to the hood, grunting as he strained his muscles. He leaned up as he heard the two SUV's collide with one another. He smiled and cheered.
