After a long day of school, Nagito makes his way to his favorite spot. Under the Sakura tree was calming enough for Nagito to sleep, which he desperately needed after escaping a tough life.

Sitting down he let the cherry blossom fall on to his fluffy white hair, there he dreamed about having someone to talk to. Instead he got a tree, which he didn't mind. It just didn't talk back.

"You know, Sakura? Winter is coming and your beautiful flowers will disappear! But don't worry, I will still be here."

A light smile was on Nagito's face, as tears were forming. He guessed it was kinda sad being friends with a tree, his only friend.

Wiping them away he laid his head and back on the tree, and deciding to rest for a bit. The school will be closed about 20 more minutes, a fair amount of sleep for Nagito.

"That's a bad idea, risking a cold just for a tree? Sad and pathetic really."

Nagito eyes opened instantly, turning his sight over behind the tree to see nothing. Was he imaging again?

"I knew I forgot something, my pills are still on the counter."

A sign of defeat left from Nagito, trying to sleep again was much more difficult.

"I'm still here you know?"

"Yes, I get it. You're the voice in my head, now leave me alone!"

A groan of annoyance before mumbling something only made Nagito more hopeless, being alone sucked for the most part. If only he was popular like his fellow classmates.

He was alone...

...

that is until he felt a tap on his shoulder

Reopening his eyes he saw nothing again, turning around again there he saw long hair from the other side.

Standing up he looked around the tree to see the figure disappear, is this some sort of prank? Going back as he sat he waited for a while before turning his head again, to see the same black hair.

"So you don't want to be seen?"

"Nice observation detective."

"Ah, I'm no Ultimate Dectective. I'm not amazing as them. Kirirgiri is one of them, she deserves it. Really."

"I didn't ask, boring."

"I know I am, so why are you here? You don't look nor sound familiar."

"I'm not around here."

"Hope's Peak is a private and secret school, how did you manage to get in with all those guards?"

"I have my ways."

"Blunt I guess, you didn't answer my question though. Why are you here?"

The other male, which Nagito would've start calling "Rapunzel" stayed silent for a moment. Thinking he left Nagito sighed, it was time to ramble away his infinite problems, forget it and repeat.

"You know Sakura, I can always trust you to keep my secrets. Because you don't ever talk about them ever again!"

Resting his head onto the bark Nagito talked what was in his mind, knowing if anyone heard him they wouldn't care, why should anyone really?

"Today was better than the rest, for once I didn't get slammed into a locker and got a bruised eye! Though they sprain my ankle. You win some you lose some right?"

...

"Also another rumor came up, I supposedly hook up with a guy classmate for money, I don't remember that happening but they aren't ever wrong!"

...

"Home was a bit better too, I didn't get cuts from the bottle shades but they did pour beer and wine on my hair. Took 4 hours to get it out."

...

"Do you think I deserve this type of treatment? Nevermind, of course I do!"

Nagito kept talking as some tears fell from him, on the other side who the person kept quiet. Listening but not really interested waited until the other was finished.

"It depends really."

"I knew you were there, apparently you smell like roses! Sorry if that sounded weird, I'm not used to talking to others."

"I figure."

"So why did you stay and listen to my rambling? From what is seemed you were bored."

"Shocker. I'm just here with the same reasoning as you."

"Getting away from reality? Venting? Or just here to sleep since you don't get enough of that already?"

"All of the above."

"Seems that we are similar. Hey, what's your name? Mine is Nagito Komaeda, not like you asked anyway."

"..Izuru Kamukura."

"Sounds familiar, where are you from?"

"That I can not share."

"Oh sorry."

It was silent for a short while, Nagito tried to think what Izuru could look like. Only knowing he gives blunt answers and that he had long black hair.

"Can I see what you look like?"

"Not now."

"So you're saying that you will, but in just some days?"

"Take it as you will."

"Hm, how about we make a deal?"

"Elaborate."

Nagito thought for a moment, what could be a deal that be worth seeing him? Not like Nagito had any real valuable he could give away. A sigh left when he made up his mind.

"How about everyday for a week we will meet up at the Sakura Tree, from opposite sides and just talk. Like we're doing right now. After the week I can see what you look like."

"What my end of the deal?"

"I guess, I leave. It seems like it was originally your place to be and I am boring you anyway."

"...sure, it's a deal then."

"Okay! We start tomorrow at 12 pm! Hope to see you there Izuru!"

There wasn't an answer, but he did hear footsteps indicating Izuru left. A smile appeared, it stayed there until Nagito reached home. He can't wait for tomorrow, at least he has reason to go.
