*~*~*

Out on the roof top of a hole called the Pink Palace, a seven foot tall blue skinned man performs calisthenics on the rooftop, counting in Russian.

"Dras, dva, tri, chetyri. Dras, dva, tri, chetyri. Dras, dva, tri..."

But while he was counting, a vehicle with suitcases tied comes & honks. This caused the blue man to nearly lose his balance.

"Mer-sa-vich!" The blue man yells as he shook his fist. Then he got off the rooftop, presumably to count somewhere else without any interruptions.

One of the movers spoke to his companion.

"We're here," He said. "Time to muscle up."

They opened the moving truck with a wrench & pulled out a loading ramp to make it easier for them to take out the furniture. While bringing in the furniture, the moving men encounter an English woman who appears to be in a stair lift & seems retired. She greets them with a welcoming smile. One of them return it & goes back to moving in the furniture.

When they finished, the bandana moving man walks out with a rolled up carpet thrown over his shoulder while the one with the hand trolley stays. He has a woman, who was Mel Jones, sigh some paperwork. When she finished, she shuts the door only to be stopped by the moving man for he has to be paid. Mel pays the man & shuts the door.

Satisfied, he looks at the money in his hands. But, it was only a one dollar bill. He groans in irritation. He & his comrade did so much work to help bring in the furniture & in return, Mel pays them poorly.

*~*~*

As the moving men start the truck, a stray black cat jumps in the muddy pavement. He had cobalt colored eyes which showed no sclera & the pupils were an oval shape. Then he heard a door open & jumped to see who it was.

It appeared to be two girls. A short blue haired girl named Coraline & a (H/L) (H/C) haired girl named (Y/N). Even though they were twins, they were different. Coraline wore a yellow raincoat with matching galoshes, a red messenger bag, & a dragonfly hair clip. & (Y/N) wore a (F/C) sweater with matching Autumn boots, a blue messenger bag, & a (F/A) necklace.

They walked down the stairs to go explore the outdoors. Coraline had convinced (Y/N) to join her as she promised to let her introverted sister to read for the rest of the day. With that (Y/N) agreed. The twins walked over to a leaf bush as Coraline pulled out a branch covered in leaves. (Y/N) cringed at it. Not because of Coraline's choice of picking up a branch, but because the branch was poison oak.

Coraline stood there for awhile. & then she decides to walk out through the gate. (Y/N) followed along. Totally unaware of the stray cat following them.

When they were silently walking, the stray cat leaps onto some boulders. But when he placed his paw on one of them, some rocks fall off, drawing the girls' attention. The stray cat quickly ran away before they saw him. Still, intrigued, Coraline wanted to know who caused the rocks to fall.
