KUROGIRI POV:
I wandered aimlessly through Musutafu, scanning the area for my green haired target. My master had requested that I look for him, saying that he had important knowledge on All might.
I started in the most logical place: his home. I teleported into the boys room, expecting to see it full of all might merchandise. My master had warned me of his admiration, meaning I would have to go to certain lengths to 'extract' the information from him. However I found myself surprised at the room lacking in the merchandise. It almost felt... empty, like it was missing a vital part. I scanned the area around me, and sadly found my target absent. I was fortunate that the other occupants of the house were gone, as I would of surely been caught for my entry into the house. The boy was obviously absent, meaning he was most likely at school. my master had failed to tell me of his school, so I decided to search for any indication of a certain school. I searched the boy's room again, but obviously his school clothes and books had gone to school with him. I searched the rest of the house, and stumbled across a school notice attached to the fridge. The contents on the letter, were your stereotypical school announcement. However at the top of the letter the school's name read out, clear as day: Aldera Junior High.
Bingo
I decided to get the trip over and done with, and teleported to the school. It was an ordinary school, with no outstanding features.
However as I concluded my analysis of the school, I noticed something on the roof. I squinted my eyes to identify the object, and to my shock it was my target. My mind raced at what my next course of action was. Master told me to gain information from the boy, but is it really worth the trouble of saving him over?
Suddenly the boy climbed over the railings. I needed to make a decision and fast. 'Worse comes to worse, we could always kill him if the information is useless' I concluded. I decided that I would save the boy, as his information could provide a necessary edge In tomura shigaraki's conquest against all might.
The boy appeared to be talking to someone, but I couldn't make out who. I shrugged it off as one of his friends, and prepared to catch the boy.
The boy took his final step, and started to plummet. I stepped into action. I could not teleport him,as as I did not know the coordinates of a location safe to deposit him at his current velocity. Due to this predicament, I would have to catch him. 'The young boy better be worth it' I thought as I moved to intercept him.
I morphed my body into a more aerodynamic shape, in order for my leap to be more successful, launching over the school gates. My eyes remained locked on the child, whereas his were tightly closed and waiting for the inevitable.
I extended out my arms to attempt to catch the boy, but to my shock he phased through my mist and passed me.I cursed myself for my foolishness. My real body was being masked by my mist, and had been just a couple millimetres short of touching the poor child.
I stretched out my arm to make a desperate attempt at snatching the child, but ultimately fell short again. I winced as the child struck the floor, painting the school playground in a messy spray of red.
I fell to the ground and cursed at my failure. My master would be displeased, and Tomura Shigaraki would be livid. Whilst I knew not the information the boy bared, I knew that it could have the potential to shake hero society to its core.
I looked back at the disheveled form of the boy and bent down to check his pulse, no matter how futile I thought of the act. However eyes widened as I placed my hidden fingers at his neck.
He had a pulse.
I immediately checked his wrist, and found the same result. Of course the pulse was weak, but it was present and barely holding on.
All was not lost, I could bring the boy to master and Doctor Giraki and redeem myself of my pathetic failure.
I picked up the boy, and formed a portal around us to my masters abode.
As the portal engulfed us both, I glanced down and Izuku Midoriya. I had no clue what compelled him to jump, as I knew very little of the boy. However, I had a feeling that the society master, Tomura Shigaraki and I aimed to destroy had a part to play.
'Maybe we could help each other, Izuku Midoriya'.
