As soon as I walked out the door I was met with a mad rush of people that stopped, looked at me, whispered among eachother, then kept going like nothing happened. Well that was weird I thought while looking around, they all were around my age or up, no adults though. "Hey!" I waved at someone, "can you help me find-" he cut me off, "can't talk to orange" then walked off. Feeling stupid I asked someone else, and then another but the same thing happened. Feeling super pissed, I found a scrawny looking guy and backed him against a wall. "Why won't anyone answer me?" I growled, he laughed and shrugged "can't talk to orange". I drew back to hit his calm face but someone yelled "oi!" I turned around to a girl about 17 in a white 'cherub' shirt, who was very ginger. She was laughing. "What!" I snapped, she just motioned me to follow her and walked towards the elevator. "What the heck", I mumbled while dropping my hands, then followed her in. "Ok, so what is going on?" I asked, "can't talk to orange" she replied while pressing the second highest number. I rubbed my head, "why can't anyone give me-" she cut me off with her hand, so I slouched miserably against the wall. When we arrived at the floor she simply said "take two rights and a left" and turned back to the elevator. "Wait!" I called desperately but it was too late, the doors closed and left me alone standing in a kinda creepy hallway. I sighed and started walking while following her instructions. Once I turned left, I came to a relatively big brownish door at the end of the hallway with a window beside it, looking in at 5-6 chairs. When I came in, there was a desk with a nice looking assistant behind it, and the same chairs in front of the window facing the desk. "Sit" she said without looking up "he'll be with you shortly". I sat awkwardly in one of the chairs for about five minutes until a very fit looking man, probably in his mid thirties, walked out and exclaimed, "ah! Pamela right? Glad you could find your way here," he winked "follow me" and held open the door so I could walk through into a large room with couches and a desk, and a posh looking chair behind it. I sat on the couch while he settled himself in the chair, leaned forward and folded his hands on his desk after straightening the lopsided L. Macdonald. Before he could say anything I said a little upsetly, "why did you make me wear this orange t-shirt!? No one will talk to me, and it's not very welcoming. Also, what happened to my best friend? What did they do to her? Is this the 'secret organisation to help kids' that Reid was talking about? Well if it is, he lied big time, I didn't think it would involve kidnapping and injuring people first!" I took a breath. Mr. Macdonald chuckled quietly, i'm guessing Reid didn't tell you a lot, but to tell you the truth he wasn't even supposed to tell you anything... but then again it was a matter between life and death... I looked at him confused "sorry?" He looked at me seriously, "while Reid was on a recruitment mission for new recruits, he ran into people who were part of a group that we were looking in to..." he looked at my still confused face. "Well the thing is, while you're on a recruit mission you can't be on another mission, which is when we save people, befriend the 'bad guys', snoop around and figure out what they're doing, and then we catch them in the act. To make things worse your best friend apparently knows Reid from before he was recruited, which makes her a liability and puts her in a lot of danger." Suddenly the door burst open and a very german looking boy came rushing in holding an ice pack to his head. "She's -" he leaned against the desk to catch his breath. "-gone!" then slouched into the couch beside me. I scooted away. "Oh?" Mr. Macdonald put his head in his hands, then looked up, "what happened to your head?" There was a long pause. "her grandma um- hit me on the head with a pan when I asked where she was" he bit his lip. I stifled a laugh, "predictable for both of the situations". Mr. Macdonald looked up at the boy with a sigh, "Hugh, get some people together and find her please" then stood up and said, "Pamela, do you want to be part of this organization?" "Will this save Lucy?" I ask, "yes" he answered after a noticeable pause... I stood up "then yes Mr. Mcdonald, I will join, but! First I need to beat Reid up" he smiled and said "great, but before you do that, we need to see if you can pass these certain tests... and please, call me Lewis"
