seven ; life without him

THE DAYS TURNED INTO WEEKS as all my questions remained unanswered.

I went to mages, librarians, royals, lords, scientists and countless of other people. None of them had ever seen my symbol.

No matter where I went doors closed on me saying I was a misfit for having that symbol along Naofumi.

I groaned falling onto the bed.

I missed him. More than anything in the world. I missed Raphtalia and Filo too but the pain I felt while thinking about Naofumi was hard.

I heard all the stories about his adventures everywhere I go.

From how he saved that village from the plant invasion, to the cursed dragon, to helping all the sick he sees. I am proud knowing everything he's doing for people.

I also heard he had another person on his team. I wonder who it is.

I had spotted them once when I was at a village for answers.

It was at a hot springs, I bumped into him when I was taking a relaxing bath in the hot spring.

I had my eyes closed when I heard a gasp. I opened my eyes to see Naofumi hovering over us. My heart raced fast as I sit up covering my breath.

"Naofumi" I whispered.

He stared before turning to walk away. And once again, I let him go.

I haven't seen him since that day, almost 3 weeks now. The wave is going to hit tomorrow in fact. I groan angry at myself for not finding the answers I need by now. I moved to get up, I had been laying here in bed all day.

Another thing was I became acquainted with Ren. He wasn't as bad as I thought he was.

He helped me a lot with my questions. I ran into him a few days ago at the capital library.

He was curious to my symbol so he offered to help.

He gave up when I did though. All I wanted now was to go back to Naofumi but I didn't know how. Especially with how he didn't even talk to me last time we saw each other.

I sighed looking outside.

I looked through my skills screen. With all my free time I would train so I had a lot of new skills. I was on level 38 now. It was weird I still got Naofumi's points whenever you gained. I wonder if he gained mine.

As I laid in bed I thought about the times I spend with Naofumi Raphtalia and Filo. The time was clicking down as the wave was about to begin.

Light emerged all over my body causing me to groan. Here we go again. I closed my eyes as I felt my body being lifted up.

Once my eyes opened I see Naofumi along Raphtalia and Filo standing next to me. "What-again?" I rush to Naofumi taking my blades out as monsters appear around us.

"Ready girls? Attack!" Naofumi yells as we leap forward.
