Author's Notes: When I wrote the first "One For None," I also wrote a second version of that poem, for back then I read the book, The Fault In Our Stars and that book inspired me to write the poem and this poem along side it. So here you go:
She's laying in her bed
She says 'The roses are dead'
Her parents are crying
They tell her 'she is dying'
She has given up on fighting
She spends her hours writing
She never eats nor sleepsShe finally admits, she's scared
Of being forgotten
Her lungs are rotten
The 'killing thing is killing her'
It's not much of a metaphor, anymore
Her final days are spent on her bed
There is no more hair on her head
Hazel Grace is finally dead

Depressing Rounds
