A Brat's Change

So close

The Maid carry's me to the shower and man how embarrassing is this a man who has climbed military ranks and even known to have the greatest fire ether being carried to the bathroom. Now she is taking off my clothes, I can feel how hot my cheeks are right now "Boop" she giggles as she pressed my nose. I look at her with what seems to be a deadpan face and in response to  my face she says "Your no fun." Well miss would you like to be in my situation right now, knowing you have the mental capacity of a full fledged adult. She places me into the water, I can just feel the water repels my body as if it were saying sorry we can't help you. The maid leaves the room to get a towel I believe. Well here goes nothing I submerge my head under the water but unlike how I got my ether crystal  it felt like two things were flowing into my body I knew one had to be flame saying i'm able to suck in the oxygen like fire does but another feels like i'm hitting the ground again and again. I now focus on my core allowing the 2 sensations to flow into me. The small lights spreads like a wild fire while some move like a inchworm but faster. "What are doing" the maid says. She pulls me out of the water and says "are you sleepy." I faintly nod to her question. She wraps me in the towel and then a warm stream of air drys my hair. When I'm placed in my room a boy comes into the room and says "How are you doing Lu" Barion says with a smile. Barion plays with my somewhat long hair twisting and ruffing up my hair. I smile knowing that I have a caring brother. "Good" it was a simple word to say and he ruffles my hair he replies with "Thats good to hear." he leaves the room and I check my core one last time before going to sleep.

The next morning I take another bath because thats hygiene. I do the same thing like last night and I still ponder on whats with the new sensation I feel. My father Otis picks me up and places me on his leg while him and Barion sits on the couch with him. I'm almost done with my core another 5 months and it should be done and in just one month is my birthday. My father asks Barion how his training is my brother responses with saying "I'm so close to mastering lighting  but its just 2 spells I can't get a grasp on." My father says "Relax the 2 you are talking about are very advance it will take time." "Fwire and Ewarth" I say thinking of that sensation I feel every time. My father and brother look at me with a smile and then they start to laugh. "Are you going to be a Fire and Earth mage son." I respond with a cute little smile.

4 months have now past and only 1 more day without the drowning meditation should work or if I meditate all day I should to be able to complete the mana core. I sit on the ground watching in my brother and father spar. I watch in awe as the blue and yellow lighting clash I now flush out the yelling to focus on meditating as the the last little specks of mana gather I feel like i'm floating.
