Chapter 19

Fushiguro was beyond shocked.

'He basically told me who his crush is... And it turned out to be me?!'

Fushiguro was now pacing around his room as he let out multiple sighs and groans, thinking of what he should do next. If he pretended to be Pablo, the situation might even get worse, and he didn't want that to happen. It's best if he told Itadori directly.

He picked up his phone and tapped on Itadoris contact. But his pupils shrank a little when he noticed: You cannot send messages to this number anymore, you have been blocked. The grip on his phone loosened and it fell on the floor.

'How did he... No.... When did he figure it out? How long has it been? Why did I even... He basically just confessed to me... No I mean- URGH!' There was no point of thinking about this anymore.

He picked up his phone and quickly hung on his coat and ran out of the house. He left the door unlocked, but he didn't care about that. His current first priority is Itadori, and nothing else. Only him.

Due to all the frustration and sadness built up, tears pooled up in his eyes as he ran towards Itadoris house. Hoping that he'd be there, hoping that he'd understand. He had to understand! Fushiguro didn't care if Itadoris feelings for him dissipated, it was even okay if they remained as friends. But he'd hate it if Itadori was to never forgive him.

He quickened his pace and finally reached, he quickly knocked on the door which was opened by Jin.

"I'm sorry Fushiguro, he just stepped out of the house..."

"Do you know where he must've gone?"

"I'm not sure, but I have a clue..."

"Tell me!"

The place was calm and quite. The forest was really beautiful during the night times. The place would be empty, the only thing you could hear was various insects and crickets. Somewhere a little bit deep in the forest, there was a small pond.

But not many people had bothered to go that far into the forest. When Itadori was around thirteen, he got bored and decided to go for a walk. He ended up in the forest, somewhere in the middle of nowhere. After about an hour or so, all that walking was fruitful. That was when he found about this mini pond.

It must be around two metres wide, and it wasn't that deep. The water was crystal clear and there were a few pretty inhabitants as well. Pretty white and orange marbled koi fish lived in the pond. There were a few coral coloured fishes too. It was as if someone had travelled into a new world.

And ever since then, when Itadori wanted to be alone, he'd always come here. He'd bring some bread crumbs along with him to feed the fish. He'd have a calm time here. The quietness made him think well and he came up with better decisions.

Just like now.

Itadori sighed, "I'm too embarrassed to even face him..." He threw a few breadcrumbs into the pond, the fish swam in and started nibbling on the nibbles. 'But I just straight out blocked him... That's a bit rude... I just blocked him because he found out that I liked him... How dumb am I?'

He slowly kept tossing the bread crumbs as he spaced out.

"Yuji..."

He snapped out of his thoughts as he looked at the person who was standing besides him.

"F-Fushiguro...?"
